Other operators besides the main 2 will be either custom or garage kits. Hard to see if Claymore is popular enough for figurine hobbyist.

Woot I have my Clare ordered as well. My first online Figure Purchase too. Wooooo I hope it arrives okay. I've had badluck with Figures. MGS Figures were good, FF8 Figures were crap sadly, you look at em funny and the limbs fall off. well on the big ones anyway. Eitherway I'm hoping Clare is quality

I have the Clare figure pre-ordered as well, though I just did so recently and have a bad feeling I have already missed my window of opportunity and they will run out before the time comes to fill my order.

I also ordered the calendar so I can hang it up and then forget to ever change it from January.

It's really too bad Amazon Japan does not ship toys including figurines/figures internationally, because consumers would have more options. Although I suspect that's a strategy put in place by licensing companies where they want product availability to differ in different regions and served by different retailers.

Are they like amazon.com? Only ship books, cds, and dvds to foreign countries?

Yes it is and now that I think about it again, electronic keyboards cannot be bought from US based online shops and shipped to Canada. This one is dictated by law so I wonder if it's a very similar to the case of what Amazon will or will not ship to foreign countries. I think though the idea of protecting businesses, margins and such are the same for both.

Anyone got news on the release date of the figure yet?

I preordered back in last month and Nov is almost over but they still haven't gotten any stock at HLJ.

I'm pretty sure it's the first week of december now.
I'm also quite anxious to receive my pre-order

HLJ claims it to arrive around 30 nov. (as they have stated for quite a while)
but I always have seen preorders get released/stocked at the end of their announced month

The official tv site still says November but Amazon Japan says 2nd December, still not to long to wait either way unless it gets delayed.

I preordered the figure so I'll be opening it up on Christmas day, look foward to seeing images though of the actual released figure.

Hopefully they will release more figures of other characters, infact multi joint action figures would be cool...with removable limbs of course .

I would very much love them to do a full set of all the ladies they'd look so nice on a shelf together. If pressed I suppose one could buy several copies of Clare and alter them. The cost however....

That would be kind of weird. It'll look like a bad episode of Haruhi.

I've heard more news that the Clare figure will be released on the 1st December so keep your fingers crossed.

They need to make Claymore UFO catcher dolls : D .

What they really need to make is one of those little voice figures of Rigardo. He'd say "Superb" every time you pushed the button.

I am sadly still waiting for my calendar to get here. Got an email last week saying it had shipped but unfortunately I selected a fairly slow shipping method, will probably have to wait a few more days at least.

Maybe a Rigardo plush toy. He would have to come apart. You could remove an arm, then he would say superb and explode into little plush giblets. Reassemble and repeat.
