It's 34-34 in Minnesota with 2:54 left. Peterson is on 163 yards. If this goes to overtime, he might just reach Dickerson's record. Or if he makes one more play that only he can. And ironically, the Packer's best WR tonight is Greg Jennings....

Seattle are still tied with St. Louis with under 2 to go.

Edit: Wilson runs in a TD. Likely they'll escape with a win.

It has been a fantastic game, and I say that as begrudgingly as possible as someone who can't be caught dead rooting for either.

I hope it goes to overtime so AP has a realistic shot at the record.

Edit: Even with two shots (due to overturned TD), Hawks couldn't get Wilson the record. With a meaningless game, they really should have gone for a passing TD.

Edit: Shit. Peterson 9 yards short, and they just scored, so nearly no chance to get those yards.

It feels like years since they've been updated, btw.
Also, cake.

OMG! Peterson is going insane this drive! But 199 with :03 left....he only makes it if they don't score the winning field goal...damn...

And they do. Minnesota win a thriller but Peterson falls 9 yards short of beating Dickerson's record. I believe that puts Minnesota in the playoffs?

Minnesota wins: AD will finish the season 9 yards short of the Eric Dickerson record.

Minnesota at Green Bay next week. SF gets the last bye.

The smack talk from a team that ended their season so poorly is going to be fun. I can't wait.

On another note, I think even without making the playoffs, that Lovie is safe. I hope I'm wrong. I really do.

So....I want Hawks vs Skins, but my gut says the Cowboys win this game. Who's up for that bet?

More importantly the Pretenders lost at home to Tampa. Time for them to go one and out again!

Oh man, poor AD. 9 yards off. Luckily he's a team player, so he'll be glad they made the playoffs at least.

So the only spot up for grabs is NFC East and goes to whoever wins between Dallas and Washington, right?

And I'm presuming seeds look something like:

AFC:

1 - Denver
2 - New England
3 - Houston
4 - Baltimore
5 - Indy
6 - Cincincatti

NFC

1 - Atlanta
2 - San Francisco
3 - Green Bay
4 - Dallas/Washington
5 - Seattle
6 - Minnesota

Yes. Cowboys need a win. Redskins need a win or tie.

Bears fans should believe that the Packers deliberately lost this game.

I hope that's sarcasm.

I doubt the Packers threw away a first round bye so Minnesota got in instead of Chicago...

While everyone else is on the edge of their seat for playoff football, I am on pins and needles waiting to see the headline that our coach has been fired.

Black Monday ftw. For me, a month ago I was sure Rivera was gone, but I think may have saved himself for another year. It'll depend on the new GM, probably.

Funny that college coaches were reviled as NFL coaching candidates for the last decade, but now with the success of Harbaugh and Carroll; Chip Kelly, Nick Saban (a return), and Bill O'Brien are being looked at for open NFL slots. And Greg Schiano was hired last year.

I don't recall the Cowboys allowing a team this much running yards in quite a while. Nor do I recal Washington being that strong in the running game...final week match insanity ftw.
