I'm reading most of Re:Translations projects

I'm only not reading EC (from summary it seems it's not my cup of tea) and Master of Monsters (i wanted to read it, but i heard you guys are dropping it, so i decided not to)

Also, if you don't mind me asking, what is the average length of the chapters and are/is current translator/s faster than the old ones o.O

P.S. Do you know from which chapter is that slavery arc, and also, does MC become strong at all (not counting his guns) o.O

That whole 5 chapters of volume 2 is the Adventurers Guild arc (he manages to do like an entire 1 quest), near the end of that he becomes a slave for most of volume 3. He's more or less free by the end of 3.

The MC is like one of the lowest ranks in terms of magic capacity, during the slave arc he's trained as a butler and learns to maximize on body strengthening magic but the duration he can use it is super short compared to magician who can go full blast with magic power. The difference in mana consumption.

He makes use of the body strengthening in dealing with recoil from the various weapons as well as using magic as the trigger for magic tools/stones in weapons he makes.

Other than that most of his strength comes from creating things and making use of modern weaponry knowledge. Though he makes pretty much every modern world weapon short of nukes so far.

To be honest I was worried this novel with great potential end like Re-monster, but chapter 5 made clear it will be interesting. Lute going to overprotective Yakuza mode was hilarious (I really wonder how he see teacher considering he indeed is older than her). And Snow that cute little being! I can't wait see her in puberty.

PS: If I get this right Gun-Ota doesn't have any illustration being WN, right?

Makes a mistake of being taken in by some con-artists interested in his guns. They rob him and sell him into slavery. Honestly that whole episode put me off this novel, though I heard it gets better after. He just goes so mind-numbingly dumb.
