As pretty as they are, OP and ED's are meant to be symbolic, not realistic or literal (or would you really believe a young Setsuna really can walk on a flat sheet of water in outer space). And while the 00's "newtype" (with quote) is strange, they've already established the possibility with the quantum brainwave connection - heck, even "quantization" is just a better way of going faster. Saying that the 00 Raiser is so haxx it can return Setsuna to being a child is just ludicrous though.

You got it wrong dude, I'm only pointing out that you misread his post. He didn't say Graham is going to be defeated, he only said Graham will suffer damage.

I agree that an upgrade that's going to be useless the next episode is bad writing.

But it's obvious that this upgrade is not going to help Masurao at all.

Unless of course, Bushido's reflexes is JUST THAT FAST, so fast that he can predict where the 00 will reappear, and react to that offensively/defensively (this is most likely the case).
