Mhm. Counting down like that only prolongs the wait. ;p
LiSa apparently performed her first US concert on Day 3 of Anime Expo 2012, where she sang crossing field, as well as a few of her other songs. There are a few other recordings of the song, and while the audio quality is more or less the same, the above clip has the best video quality. Alternatives: this, this (starts at about 12:00), and this. LiSa is surprisingly good live. Crossing field is really good; I'm really looking forward to hearing the studio recording of both the TV and full versions. @gunblitz: Nope, it has not. I was going to make the post myself, but you beat me to it. ;p |

I just watched a trailer for this. Uh, yeah, now I can see why everyone's going gaga over this anime. Forget that wonderful animation, the premise alone is sensational as hell. The deal breaker here will be how realistic the writing is with how the characters deal with the situation. If they can nail that, then this will certainly be a good anime. I might actually end up watching this anime this season.

The author, Kawahara Reki, attended almost all of the script meetings, so the writing should hopefully be more or less the same. Last edited by relentlessflame; 2012-07-04 at 14:22. |

[mod edit: removed] I watched this pv many, many times and still I do not have enough. 2 days ? This is really torture. Last edited by relentlessflame; 2012-07-05 at 04:47. Reason: Please don't talk about subbing groups for Crunchyroll shows |

Actually, UTW isn't confirmed yet to translate SAO, because Crunchyroll has picked it up. They only translated the 2nd trailer as a demo/proof of concept.
Also, that trailer is a thing of awesomeness. Starts off serious and depressing and with a bit of grim darkness to the whole thing, as well as the forceful abandoning of illusions, a feeling of overwhelming soul-crushing darkness. Then the OP kicks in, the main characters counterattack, Kirito and Asuna perform a combo attack, and the viewer is reminded that this is not a grimdark show, it's a show that believes in Earn Your Happy Ending.

seiyuu of SAO voice with the anime are all different, yet I still think that those voices are good enough.... and I guess it's not a fanmade but rather an official one since Kawahara Reki took part in making this too After reading it again, I guess there's really high chance that this anime will take part until vol 3 or 4 because [mod edit: a novel-related reason that can't be discussed here] Last edited by relentlessflame; 2012-07-05 at 07:10. Since apparently my efforts to start a discussion during the lead up to the premiere that isn't just acknowledging that there's a lead up to the premiere via countdown or otherwise have failed I guess I'll be sitting out the rest of this thread until there's something to actually talk about with the anime. At least then posts won't be getting nuked left and right.
