No wait, is it a jackal? I bet it's a jackal! (Family Guy joke). But wow, Suzaku is really paranoid in your story. I mean sure the Birthday Picture Drama (for all its crackishness) suggests that he's just as vindictive (despite the alleged forgiveness implied in the show), but it really seems that Suzaku wants Lelouch to be at fault for anything that goes wrong with the world. |

I always love how you make out Kallen's expressions, whether it's her warmth and happiness at being with Lelouch or her rage at Suzaku or anyone else that crosses her. Even without the Guren, she's a force to be reckoned with, as Suzaku has found out all over again there. Heh heh.

I don't think it's that big of a shock. You had a Suzaku/Nunnally picture before that showed her expecting, and I figured if Suzaku ever "let go" of Euphemia then he would eventually gravitate toward Nunnally anyway. At the same time though, that may not be the case here.

Hi there. I truly love your work and i feel i should thanks you for all the effort you made. You changed my experience with Code Geass into something enjoyable.
Like you i disliked the ending for a number of reasons that would take too much space to list them all, still some of them are in your opening post of this thread, i guess that's why i love your work. Zero requiem... I truly dunno what writers where thinking... Like you said "The ending could have worked", they could have kept the Heroic Sacrifice, but the puny thing called Zero Requiem to me looked more like some sort of last minute excuse to make an emotional ending and "yet another" Trainwreck. I belive that is a lot easier to pull off a "Sad Ending" rather than an "Happy Ending", since with sadness you can easily pull out tearjerker moments, the ending will be emotional, but not necessarily well made (and i belive that's the case on Code Geass). On the contrary the "Happy Ending" have an high risk on falling in the abyss of Deja vù, Deus Ex Machina or straight Pathetic. I think that's the reason Bittersweet ending are so common nowdays. Personally i prefer the "Earn your Happy Ending" way (see TvTropes), is hard to pull off, but when made well, it give me great satisfaction. Some Critics to your work (i hope constructive ones): Is just my opinion, but some nude scenes was kinda out of place for me. Like the one on remake 25 where Kallen send photos to Nunnaly, looked like she sent photos of her and lelouch under the shower... Other nude scenes are subjective i suppose, i don't mind them, still i can't find a good reason to be there. Second, i discovered your work only lately and look like you redraw some of the episodes, that would explain maybe why sometimes Lelouch, on the aftermath of his stunt with his left eye, have an Eyepatch and sometimes he don't? ------------------------------------------------------- Last note I'm italian as well, normally i'm used to read english stuff, even if i'm noway near an expert in laguages. My english is mostly informatic-based, but look like the english translation of some dialogs of your comic have verb coniugations a bit off (again i'm not sure, since i barely know English and italian grammatics, the last one being my mother language ). I was wondering if you have the original language episodes, i would like to check the difference in dialogs, and maybe help on review the translation. Thanks again for your precious work. |

Always nice to see Kallen kick Suzaku's ass, and the necrophilia part was pretty funny too (I can imagine how that would hit home). But the most intriguing part of the chapter is Nunnally's pregnancy and the mystery behind the father; I still prefer to think it's secretly Suzaku (for the reasons I listed above), but I'm not discounting the possibility that Nunnally hitched with someone else, perhaps an OC. And btw, I like your character design for her older self, as she's definitely an adult but still retains the characteristics of her younger innocent self from the series.
Oh yeah, and there's still the mystery behind the Thought Elevators and the World of C, plus what's on that holo-projecter Nunnally gave to Suzaku. Keep going with it Bonzo, that's all I can say. |
