Apparently they've just started auditioning for vocalists who will provide the singing for the two main characters. Among other things, some requisites are being female, under 25, and being able to sing in English on a native level.

Anyway, eh. When I think about it, Samurai Champloo was the last Watanabe work I really enjoyed. Space Dandy was overall a turnoff (the highs were very high, but oh, the lows...), Sakamichi no Apollon had potential but ended up a pretty soulless affair, and Zankyou no Terror was a huge, pretentious waste of talent. So I'm not expecting much... so it might just end up a pleasant surprise.

They really are playing up what they intend to do with the music. Recruiting two other people to do specifically vocals for any music scenes as well. Well, it is Bones doing a 20th anniversary. Guess they will put in a lot of effort into this one. Hopefully Watanabe can do something memorable.

It's Carole, not Carol. In no official capacity be it the URL of the official site, the logo, their twitter, etc is it ever Carol. No wonder I couldn't find this thread earlier when I searched for Carole.

They've clearly changed the spelling of her name after this thread was first created. If you look at the logo from the picture in the very first post there's no "e". If you also look at the original site link also in the first post of this thread there's no "e".

I saw "Netflix" written up there and was wondering the same thing. It's on the same programming block as Revisions so I'm guessing it'll get the same treatment.

Since it's 2cour I really doubt it will be released at international Netflix same day as Japan.

If I'm not wrong, it looks like it will be different from Revisions, where the release will be weekly by NETFLIX Japan one day before leaving on Fuji TV. Being that previously everything went at once.

Honestly I think so makes more sense, it does not make much sense in the Fuji TV to create a new anime block with weekly episodes and the streaming in charge release all the episodes before.

It is as if they were destroying the purpose of anime block, not to mention that unlike other streamings, Netflix is usually known for receiving all credits, which gives little publicity to Plus Ultra block (Well, maybe this last part is only true outside from Japan).

It actually was pretty good, I feel. The animation was pretty (and not illegal) and it introduced the characters and the world setting (albeit using narrations).
Of course, I did find it funny that despite being sci-fi, some select, convenient currently-existing companies are still alive in the show though.

I guess the main problems are:
1. I don't care too much about music shows
2. Their voice magically changes when they sing
3. It's a Japanese anime made for a Western audience. You even got that black guy + white guy stuff down.

That said, anything that doesn't make you stare at the screen with dead eyes this season is precious.
