More than likely her otaku-ish hobbies following shounen manga and her habit of smoking does come from her being alone and having nothing else to do.

It's not as apparent in the anime, but Shizuka also doesn't bother dressing herself up (e.g. putting on makeup, making sure she looks formal and tidy, etc). She's almost always in her casual appearance to the point where it surprises Hachiman how she looks when she does dress up. But you know... anime characters and all that, so she would look the same regardless unless she changed her hairstyle or clothes

Awesome episode, and I really enjoy the Hachiman/Komachi dynamic. Although, does no one do anything but insult him? I've not seen anyone apply positive adjectives to him, let alone praise.

After few days random person commit suicide in lock room but the glasses detective said it was murder,
but we never found who the criminal is or how she done it

She might be a bit rough, but she actualy understand Hikki and (possibly Yukino) well and know what they need to be able live in society. She is wiser than would appear.

I would say her suit shows just how "casual" she is.

A suit like that is casual? I thought it was pretty dang appropriate given her job. Also, is she really supposed to be in her thirties? She sure doesn't look it. I would've thought she was 29 max.

Most of the time Shizuka doesn't wear the entire suit (i.e. the coat is missing), so it's just a dress shirt and vest most of the time.

When she does wear it, it's still not worn "formally", as most of the time it covers nothing but her arms and torso. Traditionally when a suit coat is worn, it would also be buttoned up to cover the front as well like so:

And then there's the more obvious talking with a cigarette in her hand or mouth...

Of course, she DOES still do her job properly, as seen when she gives Hachiman some valuable insight by telling him that he doesn't necessarily need to become friends with Hayato's group, just learn to work and deal with them.

Rumi makes me think of an early Hachiman. She looks more avoidant than aggressive, so it would be the Hachiman path and not Yukino path.

Unless she takes the BL path and meets a Miura of her own.

Also correct me if I'm wrong, as far I can remember, his flashbacks are him getting ostracized by just girls. Are girls the reason Hiki's like that?

Not just girls. From what I could see: He's cynical of romance because he got shot down twice for assuming a girl liked him. He's a loner because people around him ostracized him - Even Yui, who's a nice girl, comments that he has fish eyes and that his laugh sounds weird. After being ostracized for so long he decided he didn't care about being accepted anymore.
