Because he makes a wonderful foil to Lulu? Because he has a tragic flaw worthy of Macbeth? LOL Suzaku is so hated here that people demand explanations for liking him. Not everyone believes Lelouch is 100% right and Suzaku is 100% wrong, guys ;D

Eliarine, are you suggesting that in upholding the highest standards of Britannian nobility, IE strength, power, cunning, and success all thanks to meticulous planning and the occasional backstabbing, that Lelouch is NOT completely and entirely in the right?

I'm an anomaly. I like both of them. In fact Geass is the only show I've watched where I don't hate one or both sides.

One of the reasons I liked this series at first was actually because both characters had their reasons for choosing their way, and I thought in the end both methods could work. But since I don't want Suzaku to die soon a very painful death, maybe I didn't watch the same show as the rest of this forum.

Indeed. I'm getting tired of finding Suzaku hate in EVERY. SINGLE. THREAD. I'd like to enjoy normal discussion without "Suckzaku"s and "Suzaku must die"s popping up everywhere. Glad to know not everyone thinks that way ;D
