I find it amusing how Marcille is gradually becoming less and less of a "straight man" at this point. I mean, she was the one planning on how to trap the undine, she was the one who assisted in cooking the stew, etc.... guess Laius and Senshi rubbed a little too much of themselves on her at this point, heh.
Also found Chilchak's comments about his involvement in the party being purely for business rather interesting, as well. Though I sort of still wouldn't be surprised if, despite his words, he proves that he does care more for Laius' party as friends than business partners through some outrageous, life-threatening stunt. |

Oh, classic Laius..... your obsession with murderous organisms never ceases to amuse me. And I see Marcille is back to her old straight man self this chapter, as well. All in all, lots of fun!
Also, I see the translators changed the name of Laius' sword from "Enguard" back to the original "Kensuke". Interesting.... |

No talk of the latest chapter? It's quite an interesting one IMO, despite the lack of Laius' party.
So we learn a bit more about the island the dungeon is located at, a bit of political talk, and we even further explore the risks of death in the dungeon. Looks like the elves' interest in the dungeon (as well as their script being used for the glyphs) gives further credence to the theory of that dark elf from the painting chapter being the master of the dungeon. Though I do find it interesting that elves of all races would be interested in immortality (aren't they usually depicted as living up to several thousands of years old in most fiction?). And on the subject of age..... I like how Namari has trouble judging whether other races are young or old from their age (I guess 61 would be pretty young for her, though, heh). Still, as fascinating as this chapter was, I really hope the next one goes back to Laius and co. roasting up some monsters.... |

Well, there was that chapter with Chilchak's age. I don't think Namari's alone with that problem.
And just because you live centuries or millenias doesn't mean you don't want more. (Plus, I'm not sure we should take Tance's word for it when it comes to Elves. He seems a bit biased. And he's old, so it wouldn't be weird for him to be the one interested in immortality.) |

Aaaawww yeah, it's dragon-slaying time!
And yeah, that was meal name sure was clever. Now, let's hope they can rescue Farlyn safe and sound so they can show that dragon that karma is a bitch..... by making it her first meal upon her freedom. |

Really nice to see this series back. And that red dragon....just looking at it gives me the shivers. Glad to see a dish again. It doesn't look very extravagant imo but still delicious on paper.
