Anyway, from what I've read, the main draw for me is the characters' interactions and the way healing magic is treated in this story.

Many of isekai novels just go on with various ways of living in another world, no problem

For this, there's a very slow romance with a single heroine and relatively good relationship with other people, no edgy stuffs

Anime? Template isekai that becomes anime is crap, Just look at Smartphone. Death March will follow suit.

But template can be good too, if done right.
Eru from Knights and Magic is OP, but it's been fun with the inventing and robot fights.

How template is Chiyu Mahou (ie how far have you read)? It's good the MC isn't overpowered from the start, and there's no edgy for edgy sake developments, or so I hear.

Mech in isekai itself not template

You need to go Re:Zero or Gate like to have great isekai anime
One that will definitely makes a good anime is Vermillion

Of course you can make smartphone and DM anime but it will not have lasting impression, will be forgotten in a month or so, guaranteed.

This one quite template, you will have MC travel around places healing people by punching them, wait, that's not template... Well, the traveling around saving people is the same, also separating with friends for a while and reunite later etc.

Then how does he fight bad guys if he can't hurt them?

Also, does Kenja no Mago count as template isekai? Cos that one got anime already.

Well Usato is basically superhuman, he can heal his ripped muscles and get rid of fatigue which make physical training supereffective.

So if he can't hurt bad guys by punching them he can as well hurt them by punching harder .. And if that doesn't work he can just go full self healing zombie until enemy get too tired fight.

Anyway among isekai I really like this one.

I'm curious if they live up to the comedy aspect of the author's description.
Especially the manga version, where the demons have some amusing banter in one chapter.

She basically domesticated him like a dog. The mc is subconsciously afraid of her and will follow her order. Heck, he even admires her despite how inhumane he was treated. Point being, Rose = scary.
