With the help of traitorous nobles, Nero has removed his father Milliard from the throne and has become the "Holy King". The country is now full pro-Church, and is renamed "Neo Avalon".

Avalon allies with Daidalos against Spada. Spada allies with Pandemonium (Kurono's country), who sends reinforcements.

While Kurono is waiting at the border with Avalon to intercept Nero and his army, the King of Spada is waiting at Galahad Fortress to intercept 100000+ enemy troops from Daidalos...

The latest chapter ends with bad news: the Church has captured Galahad Fortress...

I assume the enemies are also scheming to rescue Apostle Ai, who is held captive in Spada...

Anyway, the new arc name can be interpreted as "The Day Spada Fell"... If Spada is defeated, maybe this will finally convince Kurono to become Maou, and take the reins of Calamara/Pandemonium...

IMO it's safe to assume Black Gods are worshipped everywhere, with the exception of Church territories.

I'm pretty sure the ancient apostles were different people. For example, the Second Apostle back then was called Cain Arklight. He is the ancestor of one of the noble families of Avalon...

This incident happened in the present story not in the ancient times... Mia fought Abel when he tried to assassinate Nero (because Nero is Mia's descendant and could become Maou).

Yeah, it makes me wonder how restrictions work. Like it's mentioned the white god's power is supposed to be weakened in black god domains, and vice versa. Hence why they typically don't try to invade each other, especially with the big powers. Yet a strong black god adherent easily got his body stolen by a completely bound apostle in black god territory.

I'm sure this ability has conditions, such as needing to know the target for a certain amount of time, telling them about the body stealing ability and how the white god gave it to him/her or whatever. But even then it seemed too easy to actually execute.
Plus it doesn't even seem to be a body swap; Ai's previous body was just straight up an empty husk. Maybe there's a hard limit to the number he can swap and his soul grows weaker with each one? It was also shown that the apostles can apparently hide their power, as to most people it seems pretty obvious but it seems to have fooled even Kurono when the prince was in his face.

It was pretty obvious Ai was going to escape because rule of storytelling, just not how. Which means in the 9 and half years the story has been going, only one apostle has been beaten (Sariel), another apostle got stronger, and they got a new very strong apostle anyway, with still no serious blow to the White God's forces. Mind you most the Pandora countries aren't doing shit about the white god's forces.
The main group already knows fucking an apostle removes the apostle permanently so why they don't just do it, or spread the information is beyond me.

Anyway, predictions for the future are basically Prince is probably done for good. Might show a last-minute strength of will thing to make sure Ai dies for good along with himself. Meaning either Kurono's friend prince will become the new king, or more likely Kurono will get the princess and become the next king of Sparda and get one step closer to ruling the continent as the Overlord.

This war is also flushing out the hidden white god worshipers hidden everywhere, which upon removal will probably? strengthen the black gods' domains.

Nothing's really changed since my last spoiler. Just filler urban battles, honestly. One of his weapons evolved again but it hasn't been tested out.

In other news, apparently the manga isn't selling so well and if volume 5 doesn't sell enough it'll end with volume 6. Which is sad.

It's really sad to know that Volume 6 i.e., chapter 30 will be the final volume of Kuro No Maou manga due to bad sales. I just wish that some English publisher such as yen press or J-novel club will license the Kuro no Maou light novels. I will definitely buy them since this is one of my favourite isekai novels.

The bolded part is the saddest part. KnM has been ongoing for around 10 years already. How far have we actually gotten? I would say we are at 1/3rd of the story at best. Add slow release speed, plots which go nowhere (for example the romantic development of half of the cast) or plots we all saw coming years ago (aka Nero) and you get more annoyance than entertainment.

No Apostle battle this time, just a quick exchange of angsty words.

Looking forward to see how Kurono puts all those people from Spada to good use in Pandemonium. Some of these characters would make good military commanders.

Lily will finally have her dream wedding with Kurono. ^^

Following this, I assume Kurono will travel to various countries to establish alliances. Prepare for more worldbuilding.........

You know, I can't actually remember if he and Lily has done it or not.
Sariel was just the once, I believe.
Fiona can't handle the Maou dick and passes out very quickly, but they've technically done it. Makes me think Lily and him hasn't done it because, well, Lily is tiny. Then again maybe her copying his Maou powers helps.

Otherwise there's many more who want to get into his pants, with only one so far being promised it due to Lily?

Lily also decided to support Kurono after her love coup failed (nice boat ending) and she got beaten up by him. Plus she got a yandere *reward* for it anyway. So she's more obedient, in some regards.

Now she wants to grant his wish of making the cross army fuck off and is willing to let Kurono get it on with others for that objective.
Still a psychopath, mind you.

While exploring the ruins beneath Spada, Judas the experiment guy (who may secretly be an Apostle) seems to have discovered a portal... to Earth?

I'm glad the King of Spada is still alive, I wanted him to survive and see Kurono become Maou. Next time they meet, the roles will be reversed, the King will bow before Kurono.

The Apostles on Pandora Continent finally meet: Nero, Misa, Mariabel and Ai. A new item is revealed: the Holy Grail of Aria, which can boost an Apostle's power.

IMO this Holy Grail could be a power-up item for Princess Nell, since she gets her blessing from Goddess Aria.
