If nothing else I'm glad they are giving this idea a shot. Seems like the kind of thing that could be really good if they handle it well enough. But one of those "let's wait and see" types of situations. Still a long way off from actually playing this.

I assume Basculegion and Wyrdeer will be #899 and #900 in the Pokedex. So that in Gen 9 they can begin the numbering with #901, #902, #903...

Only if those 2 are the only new "Regional Evolutions" we get.

Honestly that didn't look bad. Will have to see how the finished product turns out. But I do like the concept of this game.

Sounds like there could be Hisuian forms for the starter Pokémon based on supposed leaks. Considering the theme of the game I could see Typhlosion taking on a more kamaitachi like form, decidueye becoming a Tengu, and Samurott playing up its samurai style more and becoming bipedal again.

Yeah, I was looking at those rumors/leaks this weekend. If true, I'm highly likely to take Typhlosion.

I'm liking the new speed system. Up until now, every other stat's every single bit mattered, but speed was like, 1 means everything or nothing.
So hopefully this will make battles more interesting in that aspect.

This is why I pre-orderd and downloaded it ahead of time (although I may end up downloading it again tomorrow if a MicroSD card that I ordered from an Amazon sale arrives).
