• I feel bad for the reporter, god that sound of bones being shattered to pieces again...
• Haha, Erika is dreaming about Shizuo x Izaya like the good fangirl she is.
• I can't believe Celty thought that was the real Saika, she should have examined it a bit more
• Waaaaa, Mai Nakahara ! . Yet another yandere on her resume, and she played the part perfectly as always. Haruna is <3 . She should just forget that pedo teacher and discover the joy of yuri with Anri... waiting for doujins/fanarts...
• Izaya was about to get the beating of his life here. For a moment I thought Shizuo was just going to walk away, but that just to pull out the guard rail to use it as a weapon, awesome ! Izaya is so lucky Celty interrupted them. I loved how Shizuo stopped immediately when he saw her, his friendship with Celty is far stronger than his hate for Izaya.
• Oh shi- rabu Zombies everywere ! I was hoping the three stooges were dead, but nope, they're here with the others. There should be a lot of action in the next episode. Can't wait to see Shizuo in action.
• Haha, pedo teacher's face when Haruna answered the door. Can't believe he had the guts to show up at Anri's place.
• Nooooo, don't save Pedo-sensei, Anri ! Well, I guess it shows Anri is not devoided of feelings, as some people were thinking.The twist about Anri wasn't really surprising, but it was good to see it at last. I was kind of surprised that she's conscious of Saika. I wonder what role she's played in all this, it seems Haruna is reponsible for most of the incidents and the zombies, but who infected Haruna? Anri? Not sure. Anyway, please don't kill Haruna, Anri !
• The biggest twist, however, wasn't Anri having the real Saika, but this:

And finally Anri becomes more than just the class representative that Mikado likes, who gets bullied a lot. About time we finally got some bigger development from her - not like it wasn't coming with Saika clearly seeking out Anri since the last couple episodes.

What surprised me here is Saika's ability to control multiple people. Granted I knew that it could at least possess two, but damn all those people. Looks like Ikebukuro is slowly going to turn into zombie central in the next couple episodes.

Still I'm glad that Anri is fighting back. But damn that sword came out of nowhere. Well okay it did come from somewhere, just not from where I would expect a sword to appear out of

Interesting episode, but more funny than interesting. Funny in an unintentional way?
The development/revelation at the very end... Mmm... Can't say I like it... Not surprising in an OOOH! way, but more of a HAAaaH? way.
...Still, does she carry that dagger around all the time? That shirt must be made of steel to not have been cut by now...

Oh, and sensei FTW. Gosh he's hilarious. Goes to sexually harass Anri... and he meets up with his psychotic ex-girlfriend, and then crawls away screaming on his knees! Lovely. Need to request and get an avatar of him...

Shizuo just tear up the guard rail to use it as a weapon to fight with Izaya,but unfortunately Celty stops them as she informed him about Saika want too meet him at the park.
Shit just got real....people that has been slashed by Saika is possessed & ready to take down Shizuo..Shizuo,been just pissed off earlier by Izaya decided to beat crap all of them.
Anri deflecting Haruna knife with her shoulder & unleashed true Saika from her body to fight Haruna=AWESOME
Can't wait next week episode to see Anri vs Haruna & Shizuo vs Saika's children!!

Impressive, impressive! Anri's revelation is even far more impressive and interesting than Mikado's. Now I want them to pair up like crazy. They are by far the most badass pairings in this anime, hands down!

Shizuo was impressive in this too. Earlier episodes made me discredited him as an unpredictable guy who lacks self-control but this episode proved me that even that, Shizuo still is a very likable character. I wonder what would have happened to Izaya in case Celty did not arrive in time to save him and to inform Shizuo about Saika. Surely, a dagger couldn't fence off that... right?

10/10 and I gave this much high scores simply because of two people: Anri and Shizuo.

The stylised design of Haruna was really creepy, suggesting how much less than human she's become. Music with her scene was incredible as well.

Well-though out happiness for Shizuo. His movements often seem quite akward, just to highlight his status as brute force incarnate.

Even though I was a little spoiled, Anri's reveal was still amazing. I'd guess that the original Saiko infected Haruna just before it got her and her parents, and both of them held it in for five years. Or maybe Anri cut Haruna at some point, which would mean a history together, and perhaps some love...

grrr...this kind of 'love' story is honestly getting kinda dull. What's with the whole 'Saika loves everybody, so she wants to slash them' stuff? The constant love = psychos equation this show is applying is just plain repetitive. Why can't Saika just be a normal psycho sword that likes to slash stuff? Blah.

Shizuo's 'hey I can finally accept myself now' speech was also kinda dumb. 'k so he gets to fight a mob of zombie slashers. I don't see how this would make him feel like a different person tomorrow.

This episode felt pretty uninspired. I guess Anri finally getting her badass reveal is good though. Thinking about it, they were hinting it pretty obviously this episode: Shinra/Celty were talking about Saika disappearing '5 years ago', and then Haruna mentioned Anri's parents dying 5 years ago as well. The question I'm now asking: when Anri was cornered by the bullies, a Saika came and slashed them. I presume that Saika was Anri herself, 'cause it just makes sense that way. Given that, why were the bullies part of Haruna's zombie army this episode? Shouldn't the bullies have been possessed by Anri's 'children' instead?

Anyway, I was totally ready to hop on the Anri x Haruna yuri train after the preview last episode but way to disappoint me, lol. Fucking hell, Haruna's practically just another Seiji, damnit. What's with this show's female characters' taste in men? Mika loves Seiji, Selty loves Shinra, Haruna loves hentai-sensei?! lol, that's great, seriously. Meh. I guess I'm gonna place my chips on Kida x Yuki finally being a likeable couple hopefully. At least they actually both seem like likeable characters.

edit: I am totally, totally up for sum Anri x Haruna yuri in the future. Since it seems like Anri's decided to live like a parasite not loving anybody, maybe we can cross out Mikado. Haruna seems rather psychotically devoted to hentai-sensei though. lol, he should be happy.

Twisted love is the central theme of the series. Complaining about it is like watching Evangelion and wondering, "Why's there all this religious crap, why can't we just have normal robots?" The theme is so central to the series that removing it or shying away from it would turn it into something else entirely.

Seiji's love is twisted because he's in love with a disembodied head and only finds Harima attractive enough to stick around with because the surgery Nami did on her head makes her look a little more like Celty's head than before (well enough so that even Celty thought Harima's head was her own and Anri actually thought she was talking to the wrong person earlier in the season).

Harima's love is also twisted because she's described as a complete stalker, who just jumped around from guy to guy half of the time.

Izaya's love is twisted because...well do I even need to explain why the hell his concept of loving all humans is crazy?

Namie is in love with her own brother and is quite willing to do anything for his safety, including turning over Celty's head to Izaya.

And now you have Saika, who expresses love by slashing people (such as her 'confession' to Shizuo last episode) and seems to hold the greatest love to Anri for being the sword holder.

There are more examples than the couple I listed, but those are the most prevalent ones.
