I'm pretty sure it was stated before that this is the end of Xehanort's story, though the franchise will continue to be milked even after that.

They can take my money for as long as they want. Although it's going to be annoying playing as Sora for all the arcs to come.

But if they do low budget spinoffs and cut corners like Days, Coded, 3D, etc? No thanks.

In Days/3D's defense, the story in those were good. Gameplay on the other hand...

Well for the most part I just like the whole true organization stuff and Young Xehanort. I didn't care for the rest pertaining to the Disney worlds.

I know everyone has an opinion, but seriously, everything that happened in the last hour of DDD was some the most unnecessarily convoluted storytelling I've ever seen.

And I played through all of MGS.

Master Xehanaort exposition dump about the 13 vs 7 and how his time travel powers work were beyond convoluted, but other than that 3D was a really good game IMO.

Though I still have BBS as the best Kingdom Hears game so far.

Convoluted, yes. But this is KH. Every game after 1 has been a slow build up of WTF.

But in terms of story and characters I like BBS the most, 2 for gameplay.

Try watching gametrailers KH timeline videos and explanations, heck they did such a good job that they even have information on the story from that new mobile game which surprised me when I saw the new trailer because it explained why they focused so much on the black keyblade during young Xehanort and young Eraqus chess game.

No lie after having watched that video I understood that it was all planned and that it all connects, I gained new respect for Nomura after seeing that.

It's two difference "series". Kingdom Hearts Timeline was done a couple of years ago and just focus on how all the games fit in sequence, and Kingdom Hearts - Mysteries is a four part miniseries they did in collaboration with the folks at KHInsiders and talks about specific aspects of the lore: Time travel, Sora's connection to others, Master Xehanort, and the Fortunetellers.

In Days/3D's defense, the story in those were good. Gameplay on the other hand...

It's easily my favorite from all the KH side game though It's like the first KH game for me where you can do tons of things in battle but also not just with one press of a button (like in KH2) or mostly animations like in BBS.

I remeber watching it right when it was originally posted and that wasn't that long ago, meh whatever the videos there who cares when it was posted.

Anyways, I wonder why is that new mobile KH game "still in develoment" when it already released in japan and from the video it seems like the translation is done, soo is square troll trying to find ways to suck money out of the fans with this game or something? (Of course they are)
