My biggest curiosity now is how the author is going to handle the marriage thing. Will they give up and be satisfied with simply living together, or the author will have them get married in a country where incest is legal?

We never know what the future hold.
He could stil end with Ami but less likely.
Inces route may go
Aki sora style. In a way tigre would be happy in that end.
Then there's yosuga no sora/oreimo incest end.
Then there is that rika manga but dont know if it ended already.
But likely this is an Uta confirm end or an uta open end.

This is fiction, though, these two fictional characters aren't harming anyone.
And the only reason Oreimo didn't work was because of executive meddling at the end.
