The suit isn't her armor (Dark Saber's armour really is quite slick) it's just what Kiritsugu chose for her, I'd imagine. I personally see nothing wrong with it. She's not some wimpy girl, after all; she's a warrior. When she's not in her armor, what would one expect her to wear? (Though I have no qualms with her not wearing anything at all, some people might have issues with that )

The smile on Rin's figure with Beserker freaks me out. Seriously.
you have a point about the maid stuff, but I was just comparing the armored saber with the fate/zero saber, not considering the rest of her clothes.

I see. Even still, that's sort of an off-kilter comparison, isn't it? Wouldn't it be better to compare Dark Saber's armour with Fate/Stay Night Saber's armour and compare her FSN clothing to the FZero clothing? Then that would be an even comparison....apples to apples, oranges to oranges and such.

So, it looks like the GSC Saber will be re-released not just for AmiAmi, but Toyslogic is taking preorders for it. Unbelievable. I am so happy! Now, I won't need to spend a damn fortune on ebay to get one.

Hehe, I'm new here and the only models I ever buy are Haruhi, Rozen Maiden or Fate/Stay Night models. I just got the Rider 1/6 Swimsuit version and am interested if there are anymore cool models out there (mainly ones for Gilgamesh ^_^).

Archer and Kiritsugu seem to be the only figs getting a release so far
and that is alot considering most of the time only girls get released of an anime
(once every 10000 releases you get a NGE male character for instance)

Heh, it figures that they're re-releasing the Magical Girl Rin. Found mine completely by accident at CD Japan a few months ago and it was their last one, I thought I was so lucky. Also spent a fortune on shipping. And now it looks like even some domestic retailers are gonna be carrying it. Oh well, guess getting it half a year earlier was worth the extra money and time spent looking for it, heh.

Now if they would only re-release the figure with Rin jumping over Berserker, that is the only one that continues to elude me.

This thread has some awesome model figurines, especially the Saber ones I like :P (<3 Saber Long time really :P). But I was wondering, not sure if this one was posted before: http://members.jcom.home.ne.jp/tssys...ile4/e082.html

Either way if it was or not, does anyone know where I could possibly purchase that figurine? Because I am yet to find a place which actually sells this exact figurine. If anyone can help me, I would appreciate that ^~^

Ha, I never spend enough time in this forum.

Long story short, without having to read 20+ pages, is there any Fate/Stay Night clothing? I've seen a Rin t-shirt and a Trace On one.

Still hoping for a Saber shirt, however. >_>

HobbyLink Japan has a pretty big selection of shirts and there are several of Saber.

I picked this one up the first time it was released, it's one of my favorites. I like the pose a lot and the face is a lot more accurate than many Rin figures. As far as normal clothing versions go, I still think the Kotobukiya Rin is the most faithful to the anime, despite the kind of weird pose. Seems most of the normal clothing Rin figures are discontinued but this one can still be found pretty easily.

Yeah, the outfit is great but the face is just freaky. I remember reading someone's post on another forum that said something to the effect of "She has jowls like Richard Nixon" and I have to agree with that.
