Spoiler for Tatenashi plot:

It's only a few days after Christmas and Tatenashi is very irritated. She doesn't show it but people who know her would probably notice her ire. She just came from knitting lesson(read as fiasco) with Utsuho. It was Tatenashi's fault to begin with because she decided to take another crack at knitting but she blamed all of it on Ichika. Well actually she was trying not to blame it on Ichika, because this line of thought would imply she wanted to knit something for Ichika(...Okay so maybe she did want to knit something for Ichika). She overheard Ichika one day saying that even though Christmas was over, winter was in full swing. A pair of mittens and a muffler were definitely a must for the season. That was when Tatenashi had the sudden urge to take up knitting(again).

In Tatenashi's hands were actually the articles Ichika had mentioned then. A pair of mittens and a muffler(that is if you could recognize them as such). Tatenashi thought about giving them to Ichika, she'd try to see if she could get the young man to put them on and wear them through the season despite their horrid appearance(she should be snickering about now). Even though they were poorly made by her hands, she could just tease him about turning away a gift a girl made with all her heart. If they question the quality, then she'd just say she did it on purpose.

Tatenashi could imagine it, she'd hand the mittens and scarf to Ichika and he'd be flabbergasted at exactly how bad they looked. She'd use the pout something she came up with which was more powerful than the puppy dog eyes. Ichika would wear it out of guilt and he'd be mortified. At that point this imagination becomes very different from her plan. Ichika says that he's not warm enough. Tatenashi stops her laughter at this and asks whether he's complaining. Ichika says that he is and that the knit articles were done badly since they don't even keep him warm. Tatenashi says he's not much of a man because he can't stand a little cold. Ichika huffs and says that he'd never met a woman who couldn't knit, and that even Chifuyu learned how to knit(after a few lessons). Tatenashi's cheeks colored(at the parenthesed part). She tells Ichika that knitting isn't all that hard and if she wanted to then she'd show him how good she was by sharing her scarf, which she made properly with him(actually it was Utsuho who made it). Ichika takes up the challenge and goes closer to her to wrap the scarf around both of themselves. This tangles them up but the two are too stubborn, Tatenashi about the slight on her pride, Ichika about how bad the present he got was.

A few minutes of standing and Tatenashi asks if Ichika is getting warm yet. Ichika answers a stuttering "Yes"(who wouldn't get hot after sticking to Tate for that long?

). Tatenashi is also blushing but keeps her voice even. She tells him that she's as good a woman as he'd ever imagine. ichika admits his defeat, but asks the question that Tatenashi didn't expect. Why did she care to prove her femininity to him? She was always teasing him in... other ways, but why was this important. Tatenashi can't answer. In the end she says that it's because she's the best at everything. Ichika looks her in the eye and smiles saying "Liar"(Usotsuki). Tatenashi's face was already red as an apple and it only got redder as Ichika dove in for a wet one.

Tatenashi snaps out of it and she hears Ichika's voice. That should be normal since she knew he passed by there often. When she saw him though, he was with the girls and he was handing things out to them, well not all of them. She got closer without being sensed and noticed those thigns he was passing out were scarves and mittens. A set for Houki, a set for Lingyin and a set for Charlotte. Ichika apologizes to the two remaining girls because he only made those last pieces from leftover material. He originally intended to make enough only for himself and his sister. This prompts the girls to get angry with him at that admittance(some are muttering siscon). However all their killing intent is collectively drowned out by the presence of a greater evil.

Tatenashi approaches the group with a big smile and an incredibly amiable greeting. She approaches Ichika and "gives" him a late Christmas present(her handmade mittens and muffler). She quickly takes off Ichika's current mittens and muffler saying that he shouldn't have gotten them for her(Ichika says he made them for himself). Tatenashi walks away, finally allowing the other girls to breathe and Ichika with very ugly and ineffective winter apparel. Tatenashi decides to try Ichika's homeknit accessories. She is further annoyed by the fact that they feel more comfortable than Utsuho's make.

Well I don't think I captured Tatenashi right in this one but hopefully it's not something that can't be fixed.

It's perfect!!!!!! Perfect for the season and focuses less on the sex appeal! A great plot

Cofused a bit at the last part, is Ichika saying they actually feel comfortable?

@era-era: Yeah, Ichika admits it's comfortable. Even though Utsuho made the scarf Tatenashi shared with him.

The very very last part is the one I like. Tatenashi steals Ichika's homemade scarf and mittens and gives him her badly made ones. She wears them and begrudgingly accepts that they're even better than the ones made by Utsuho, the person teaching Tatenashi.

@era-era: I would've had a harder time if you chose the perfection route actually. I've been letting this stir in my head since last month. Just realized that the season and setting were fitting right now.

I was actually marathoning kamen rider W and W the movie

Well, dunno, told you the truth there's difference between countries. Japan would likely somewhat stricter, especially there's a scientific founding that usage of painkiller on kids is somewhat frowned even if it's not forbidden.

Some plot point: Irish tried to stole some from I.S.A. infirmary.

EDIT: the new fic is strange, it has script in it.... script is especially frowned in ff.net

@ Everyone - How come the OC fighting Cecilia and/or Rin and kicking their ass has become a staple? Other highlights include the main characters gathering on the rooftop to discuss said pilot, most of the time Rin and/or Laura make a bad comment, and of course having a deep voice and introducing them in front of the class.

@ Senpai - So how would he get those without others finding out? Apart from stealing since he'll get caught eventually.

Because common worf effect duh, they actually expect Cecilia and Rin is weaker than Ichika, which is not ture especially in Rin's case.

1. fighting cecilia and Rin are considered entry level. Specially in the anime they don't show much skill, compared to when you watch gundam >.>

2. because that's how the heroes of IS meet up... on the roof. Then again they don't think that the cafeteria is epic enough.

3. Lolis always hate it when new meat enters their territory(predator or prey).

4. deep voice? I don't hear guys that sound like women all that often... Honest

5. Because class introduction is a must in Japan when transferring. Or so it seems.

So true

Well, some people want their OCs to be better than CCs and end up doing that (sometimes without a good reason)

In my case, I put Fuuko (my OC) at the same level as Rin, because when they fought, they weren't able to beat the other

Fun fact, if Madoka and Cecilia has a gunfight outside I.S. in Sacred Twins, Madoka win hands down.

Cecilia has bad reflex in mine, and had to train it with Ichika and Houki.

Just make it reasonable. I had an OC that better than the rest and almost tie with Tatenahsi, except that she's a Third year and real I.S. Representative.

On top of that, she's a double agent.
