Although Shaft was pretty good trolling-- they even had a series which title contains "under the bridge" (that's where trolls live), they still have yet to beat KyoAni which will continue to make a strong appearance for these tournaments for quite the long while despite well... all their lack of effort save for Disappearance.
Well, that and Deen's continued existence is a huge troll too....

Great performance by Mikoto and not a great one by Haruhi. I think this is the first time I've thought either of these things since Topaz started. I guess Mikoto couldn't keep falling forever and Haruhi couldn't keep rising forever. Perhaps both of them are sliding back towards their former power levels a bit. Eucliwood also looked pretty good in her win over Yui. There were a few close matches that didn't go quite the way I expected them to. I thought C.C. had a fair sized gap to work with over Index so I'm a bit surprised Index was able to win the match. The other result that really surprised me was Yuki over Kuroneko. Even before the release of the last OreImo OVA episode, I expected Kuroneko to be stronger. I figured the OVA episode would just be a small boost to completely seal the deal. I'm happy to see I was wrong. As has been the norm with my stats over the years, Fate acts unpredictably and manages to beat Mafuyu. I thought Mafuyu would have a close win but in the end Fate managed a small lead.
