I got it for 14769 yen. That is around $260 of my own currency because I paid this month, compared to having to pay $280 if I paid up last month.

It certainly pays to have a little knowledge on forex

. Thanks for the rec on JAA Proto. I used to use Zipangu Treasures but they are slowed due to the Golden Week.

Sorry it is 17479 yen. Typo. But in my currency it is $260, or at least 2 days ago.

Yah, I just payed for mine. It ends up at 17479yen after all of their fees. That is around US $188.51 at the current exchange rate, in case anyone is wondering. I hope shipping isn't to much. I'm really excited about this.

I thought they wanted the cost INCLUDING local shipping. 18376 yen here.
Item (Bid) Price : 15,600yen [They want the price including shipping, right?]
Commission : 1,748yen
Bank Fee : 300yen
Transaction Fee : 728yen

Oh well, maybe I'll ask them?

In any case, they shouldn't be able to charge me for domestic shipping any more. (If they do, I'll tell them I already paid for it.)

Worst case, net loss of 97 yens, oh well (commission and transaction fee).

Could anyone pop over to 2chan and see if anyone is making comments about this? I have a gut feeling people are complaining that they are not given enough time to raise funds or such......

Huh? If you're in Japan having enough time to raise funds isn't an issue, one of the payment options is cash on delivery.
