Whaaa Yahagi dropped from E-3 boss S rank 0_0

Checked the wiki and they did mention it, but still. It's not everyday that I get a sakura holo ship

iirc high morale helps, because having anything less than A rating in nodes before boss node drains your girls' morale a little more.

Pretty sure I got cut-in several times by the enemy fleet in night battle, and my Ise did cut-in once.

After 2 days and over 20 buckets, I finally cleared E-1.
LOS was 260. Here's the fleet I was using:

For CA: Everyone of them was stuck with 2 reds (20.3) + Type 0 Recon Seaplane for the rest of the slots.
For CVL: Type 52and Suisei on both CVLs, Hiyou got Ryusei and Saiun while Junyou got Tenzan and Type 21 Air Radar.
Kongou: 2 reds 41cm, 1 yellow 15.5 and 1 Type 0.
Admiral HQ level is 54.

Sadly, all I've got for rare drop is Tanikaze (other than Harusame). THRICE.

AL operation cleared! That was the most sparkle runs I ever did aside from my DD expedition sparkle runs

Now moving on to E-3...

Hmm, I have a feeling that I'm going to have to turn both my DDs into Radar Mules for my try tomorrow, as well as load up my CVLs with all the Saiuns I have. The pitfalls of having a high Admiral level vs. available ships.

Lets see if it works though, as I REALLY don't want to sacrifice Sanshikidan for more planes.

^ Not really. It's just the compass being a troll. If you still having trouble after a few tries though, consider adding another LoS plane.

I don't mean the dead end one. I means as the northern path (where you have to fight 3 nodes before boss). Tried to reset like 10 times, and it still head there every time. I guess it's just the extra difficulty for final kill.

But it's possible that i may miss out E-6 at this rate. My bauxite is running real low. Dropped down to 66k after E-3 (it costed like 500-900 per boss kill). Not sure if this + refill will last me through E4-6. But expedition gonna be focus on bauxite atm

Btw on E-4, wiki recommended using 3 CV, 2 BB and a CAV instead of the current 4 CV. Do you think that it's a good idea? And i guess Type 3 for all BB+CA?

^ Oh, don't worry about the bauxite. E5 has a lot of non-aerial node and E6 isn't really expensive on bauxite either.

From E1~E5 and up to my current progress in E6 I've spent no more than 20k bauxite.

If there's anything you should be worried about, it's FUEL. And steel should you attempt E6 with Yamasashi.

For E4 you don't really need as much air power as E3, so using 3CV is fine (though it wouldn't be as fun, it's MIDWAY!)

You don't need to put Sanshiki on the BBs in the main fleet. They don't participate in night battle and they still don't do much damage to MI Hime during the day with it anyway. Load them up with yamaplanes / radars instead. 2CA(V)s must stay in your escort fleet though, they will be the ones scoring the kill. Stuff all your CA(V)s with Sanshiki and DD/CLs with double guns.

Rather costly, especially compare with the southern route. On the other hand, only six kanmusus are tied up. The trade-off is good enough for me.

The bug is fixed.

You need to form combine fleet for E3 - E5, just follow the standard guide of it: 4CV 2BB for the first fleet, and 1CL/T 2CA/V 3DD for the second fleet.

Ok. Looks like the Midway bug has been fixed. Make sure that you re-login to the game. The developers also ask anyone that have lost ship girls due to this bug to contact them and they will review the log data to get your ships back.

There's also a notice posted out to Teitokus at Yokosuka. The devs are working on the server overloading problems.

This could be already obvious to everyone, but just now I have just realised that some ship has higher stat than her duplicate at level 1. Like my Yahagi torpedo is 25, while another copy i got later is 24. Both at level 1 and after removed equipments

Just finishing the dailies, but after those are done, hitting E2 in earnest. If the equipment setup I use doesn't work though, I might have to consider using BBs for E2, even if this means hitting that night battle node up north. :<

That, or craft more Saiuns. In any case, it will be difficult.
