No Mia is the mother. Mia's father would be Poseidon if it follows Greek Mythology. Though I am pretty sure it won't, the author pretty much set on species rather than individuals. So every species most likely have no sense of background and are just like normal people.

I'm alive, everyone! But they think that the chest pain I've been having all this time could be intercostal neuralgia.

You know I am just wondering, when most manga authors fall ill, why is it Chest Pains? It seems like that is the only illness that Manga author succumb to. Doesn't it seem weird?

Probably the all-nighters. Usually the respiratory takes the biggest hit along with mental faculties during times where you lack sleep. It's probably centering on the lungs weakening. At least this is from my experience.

Anyway...
I'd rather have him take a month or two off than overworking himself and getting worse.
Hope he gets better soon.

But in all seriousness being a Manga author seems to a dangerous job.

From what I understand it is more draining then anything else with how tight deadlines can be at times. Not to mention the that most mangaka don't get paid that much for their work so they're forced to work day jobs to pay the bills.

Most mangaka get the big bucks from royalty of tankoubon sales, and as we know, not all series is a ridiculous hit like One Piece, hence the they have to work double job things.

As fare as I know this manga hasn't been put on hold yet so we should be getting an chapter this month but I future chapters may not be as long as previous ones.
