Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Tsugumi Part 12 (end-game spoilers):

-Takeshi wakes up at 7:44 A.M. He notes that they have 138 hours and 16 minutes until LeMU collapses. He washes his face and hopes there's no scribbles this time. When he arrives at the Staff Room, Coco is trying to get the others (except Tsugumi, who's not there) to play cards.
-Coco proposes they play "Super Memory". When the others say they don't know it, Coco asks Takeshi if he has. Choice time.
-I said no. Coco explains the rules. Sora says in her database, that game is called "Concentration". You knows it as "Mental Guts". Same argument ensues. Takeshi proposes calling it "Concemory". Everyone complains about the name ("There's no 'Super'!" "The 'Guts' part is important!" Sora's argument makes no sense in English, so I won't bother). Takeshi then proposes calling it "Super Gutsentration" (that's how I would translate it, anyway).
-They eventually decide to forget the game and just have breakfast. Takeshi has a hot dog/frankfurter. He's still hungry, but sees a free one on a plate on a table. However, Coco stops him, saying it's for Tsugumi.
-Suddenly, Sora reveals the frankfurter came from a shimagatsuo fish. Takeshi loses the rest of his appetite. He asks You if the gas is cleared yet, but she says it'll take two more hours. She tells him Kaburaki had another freak out earlier, which is why Coco proposed the card game.
-Suddenly Kaburaki looks up at the ceiling and says "H-Huh...?? I can see the moon." He then corrects himself, saying what he means is that he saw a bad image. He draws it on the notepad, of a person with a metal pipe sticking out of their right leg.
-While the others wonder what Kaburaki meant, they hear LeMU groan along with a loud noise. Kaburaki asks Sora what happened. She says a part of the Insel Null shaft has bent, but has no other info. They head for the control room.
-Tsugumi's already at the Control Room, investigating something. Takeshi wonders what to say: "What were you looking up?" or "Did you eat breakfast?" Choice time.

Actually, there's a scene about Kokoro needing to pee while in Satoru's body in early Kokoro chapter (I think it was day 1). After that the issue is never touched upon again (likely because it just isn't interesting beyond the first time).

After more walking, they make it to the Plant Area, a methane hydrate plant.
-Kaburaki puts his notepad to much more use, writing down every new thing he learns.

Sora tells him not to drink the water saying that "it's not that humans can't drink it, but..." but Takeshi's so thirsty he sips it anyway, only to find it tastes bad. -Tsugumi gets suspicious, asking what reason there could be for having a plant like that there, but Sora can't answer.

More than not leaving an unresolved thing in, I'm concerned about

how Coco route will separate from the other Takeshi/Kid routes. In the original, the simultaneous yet different can kicking caused Blick Winkel to break free and observe both timelines simultaneously. In the original, the kick the can game was utilized perfectly for this. How are they going to do it in the remake?

Kaburaki has no contact with BW until post-accident 2034, so there's no way he could predict Tsugumi's accident at that point. What are they trying to do?

Also, are you absolutely sure Takeshi Abo did the music for the remake? Not some guy rearranging his stuff with him credited as the original author? Every single rearrangement of the old tracks is inferior to the original. I haven't listened to the entire soundtrack yet, but so far the only ones I liked were Der Kern-Je Nach and the Klavier songs I've heard so far. The rearrangements don't really sound like Takeshi Abo did them, although Der Kern-Je Nach is very clearly Takeshi Abo (especially the end of the track is very much reminiscent of Steins;Gate).

Is this a Kaburaki quote here? XD I seem to remember him saying something pretty similar in the original when he was stopped from doing what Tsugumi did, and I dont know about the music being all worse, some of its pretty good, that being said for the most part I have to agree with you. Yes unless a good amount of this stuff gets explained its not going to make any sense, but even then it doesnt feel like it'll measure up to the original, they're just changing too many things in the wrong way

Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Tsugumi Part 13 (end-game spoilers):

-Takeshi tells Tsugumi that there's a hot dog waiting for her. Tsugumi awkwardly thanks Coco for saving it. Sora looks up the damage, and sees they'll have to do repairs in the pipe room (not the warehouse). Takeshi volunteers, as does Tsugumi, as she explains she knows a variety of repair techniques. Coco also comes along, though Takeshi is a bit reluctant to let her go, seeing as it could be dangerous.
-You says she'll check the monitors and inform them if there's any changes, giving Takeshi a special earphone to do so. Kaburaki comes along with Takeshi's group. The pipe room is leaking water when they get there from the pipes, though only in small droplets.
-Kaburaki is tense, saying he feels like he's remembered something, but he immediately forgets, and also forgot his notepad. Takeshi tells him this could be a sign his memories are returning. They have to repair the pressure control pipe by stopping the valve. Sora tells them to check all of them to be safe.
-Tsugumi then begins assigning everyone roles in fixing the pipes. Sora has to leave because You's contacting her. Takeshi asks Tsugumi where she learned these skills. She says "it doesn't concern you."
(Come to think of it, maybe Tsugumi did a maintenance part-time job while on the run from Leiblich? That would explain her skills.)
-Tsugumi tells him to turn the blue valve counterclockwise, then the red one clockwise. Takeshi goes to turn the blue one. After following Tsugumi's instruction correctly (you still have to input the choices), the others finish up, and the water stops falling.
-Suddenly, You tells everyone to run away. The room shapes, and the pipes in the ceiling break, falling towards Coco. Tsugumi pushes her out of the way, and gets impaled on the leg. Takeshi tells Kaburaki and Coco to get out of there.
-Tsugumi tells Takeshi to leave her, but he refuses. The room the starts flooding. Tsugumi keeps trying to send Takeshi away, telling him he doesn't need to worry about a stranger like her. Takeshi says "You're not a stranger... you're our friend (nakama)."
-Tsugumi scoffs at that, saying she'll never be one of them. Takeshi pulls the pipe out of her leg, and grabs her as he starts swimming. As he keeps swimming, he tries to reassure Tsugumi, but he gets increasingly desperate.
-With You's guidance, Takeshi manages to make it out. As Sora guides him to the Infirmary, he keeps shouting reassurances to Tsugumi. He delivers her to You, and leaves the Infirmary with Coco.
-After You finishes with Tsugumi, they drop Kaburaki and Coco off at the Staff Room while Takeshi, You, and Sora talk in the Control Room. Tsugumi's prognosis is the same as the original.
-Sora explains the path to the Cosmic Whale is now completely flooded, and the pipe accident was caused by a leak in the methane hydrate gas plant. She also explains as a result, the remaining time they have has been reduced to 91 hours, meaning LeMU will collapse on May 7th at 7:00 A.M. Sora says she'll keep checking if there's any more routes out, but the odds are slim.
-Takeshi and You leave, and Takeshi takes a shower and dries his clothes. He goes out to the Staff Room to see only Kaburaki. Kaburaki explains Coco went to see Tsugumi. You makes lunch.
-After lunch, Takeshi goes towards the Infirmary to see Tsugumi. Sora stops him, saying she'd like to talk to him for a bit. Choice time.

-Takeshi declines, and Sora leaves. As Takeshi's about to enter the Infirmary, he hears the footsteps of a small animal. He thinks he sees a "mouse", but assumes he's just seeing things and goes inside. He finds Coco sleeping near Tsugumi, who is also asleep. He expresses relief that Tsugumi is okay.
-He returns to the Staff Room, and just hangs around, making himself a Tatsuta Sandwich (huzzah!) for dinner. However, Coco's in a down mood. You mentions that Tsugumi seems to be recovering fast. Takeshi tells Coco that Tsugumi will get better in order to cheer her up.
-After dinner, Takeshi goes to see Tsugumi again, as does Coco. She's still sleeping. Coco's concerned because she wants Tsugumi to eat something. They return to the Staff Room again.
-Kaburaki and Coco then play "Super Gutsentration". Pipi successfully gets a pair of Aces. She then picks 4 cards at once, saying you can do that if you get a pair of Aces (I sure as hell don't remember that in either version of Super Memory). Takeshi then gets a lot of pairs as he memorizes their locations, but then Coco shuffles them after Takeshi gets a Joker, saying you shuffle if you pick a Joker. Coco wins in the end.
(BTW, I'm DYING to talk about Never7 right now, but I'm really doing my best to hold back)
-Takeshi returns to the decompression chamber, and goes to bed. He remembers Tsugumi scoffing at the idea of nakama, saying she'll never be one now or in the future. He wonders what happened to Tsugumi in the past.
-End Day 3.

-Day 4.
-Takeshi awakens at 5:04. He tries to go back to sleep, but Sora suddenly appears in front of him even though his eyes are closed. Upon hearing that, Sora wonders if there's a bug in the Mirage system.
-Sora tells him Tsugumi's regaining her senses, and he immediately goes to see her. She awakens, and asks for the situation. He's reluctant to tell her, so he asks her to calmly listen, but she's already figured it out from his expression. When she realizes she's still alive, Takeshi notes there's no joy on her face. He wonders what to say to her. Choice time.
-Takeshi apologizes. Tsugumi gets angry, and tells him she wanted to die. However, rather than give a speech about the value of life, Takeshi says he'll make sure nobody dies on his watch and that he'll save everyone, protect them. Tsugumi calls him a hypocrite.
-Upon leaving the infirmary, Takeshi sees Sora. He then realizes that there's nothing to be glad about for Tsugumi's condition, given her state. He calls himself a dumbass, blaming himself for what happened to Tsugumi. Takeshi and Sora then have an "argument" over who's fault it is that Tsugumi's injured.
-Sora is really curious about what Takeshi plans to do next. She still wants to talk to Takeshi. Takeshi agrees to talk. They head to the pseudo-aquarium to talk (guess that's replaced the dolphin carousel).
-She talks about similar issues of wanting to get to know humans, but having trouble communicating with them. Takeshi then teaches her about following conversation and how to converse with humans.
-Sora discusses the technology used to simulate her programming, such as a Human Emulation Limiter and a Meme Program. She discusses the "emotions" she sometimes feels. She says she's happiest when everyone's smiling. Takeshi agrees with her.
-He leaves Sora, and goes to the Staff Room, and sees Coco has left a Tatsuta Sandwich for him for breakfast. After eating, he goes to see Tsugumi again, but she's asleep. He thinks about what she said to him earlier. He states his vow not to let anyone die (uh-oh... R11 vibes, anybody?). He states he can't hate Tsugumi because she's saved his ass multiple times.
-He leaves her, and walks around, finding the others at the pool, where You is talking about fate. Takeshi shows up, and You asks where he's been. Coco says she visited Tsugumi earlier and gave her breakfast. He contemplates why Tsugumi's eating when she told him earlier that she wants to die. You repeats her question, and Kaburaki says he saw Takeshi passing Sora. Choice time.

Actually I kinda like some of these changes, I mean let's be honest here the recommended route order is Takeshi's routes>Kid's Routes>Kid Coco so does it really matter if we are forced onto Takeshi at the start? it just makes things simpler, and I'm sure the choice will appear again after you clear Takeshi once.

Kick the Can? eh I honestly can't say I care, I mean the mystery of it is interesting once but then you end up repeating the game so many times it looses all meaning. Tsugumi? I can't really see any real difference, she's a bit more distant I guess? but that's fine and still fits how I remember her. I like the added scenes with Sora and You, helps to give them more character and stand out better IMO

As for some other changes? well I think we're being a little to hasty with our judgement. We're comparing these changes to what we remember from how everything went in the PC version, but here we're only on the first route so let's wait and see how these are accounted for in the later routes and not how they suddenly make no sense with the version we remember

Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Tsugumi Part 16 (end-game spoilers):

-Takeshi tells them he went to see Tsugumi as soon as he heard she woke up. Coco and You are upset, saying he should have woken them up too. When he tells them about his conversation with Sora, You gives a brief lecture on communication (are the new writers trying to get in the Root Double spirit?) and goes on to talk about the four Fs (fighting, feeding, fleeing, and reproduction/fornication).
-(One thing I do like about the new Ever17 is at least the writers did their research. After Code_18's rather... disastrous and loose take on science, I'm pleased to see them talking about actual science. Even if it is just more basic science compared to what Nakazawa and Uchikoshi are doing, at least they're TRYING here, whereas I didn't feel like they were trying at all in Code_18.)
-After realizing she's going off topic, You apologizes. Takeshi thanks Coco for the sandwich (which she calls a Super Ultra Deluxe Delicious Special), saying she mixed mayo, mustard, miso, wasabi, ketchup, and anything Pipi could find, then put them between bread, in addition to sugar, salt, butter, cinammon, cardamonde, etc. Overall, she mixed 17 ingredients for the blend sauce.
(Coco's list of ingredients are reminsicent of Yuka's rather... interesting combination of ingredients from Never7 for her "Mysterious Object")
-Kaburaki asks You to continue talking about the three statues at the pool statues, as she was earlier. You explains that in history, three goddesses have represented various things- the Greek, Orient, and Babylonian goddesses, a young woman, a mother, an old woman, past, present, future, etc.
-Talking about them from the Greek perspective, she says they represent the Three Fates- Clotho, Lachesis, and Athropos, and talks about their red string of fate. She explains them one by one, and how the control fate. Takeshi thinks "Fate, huh? But..." Choice between "Why the goddesses?" (I think- I don't really know what he's going to say next.) and "Isn't fate already decided?" I guess the latter is safer for Tsugumi.
-You says that's true, and mentions the many different ways of thinking about fate, such as "determinism" (I'm going by the only one I recognize), but You says it's a matter of viewpoint. She says while the past may seem like fate, in the end, you don't know the future, so you have to make it yourself (or something like that), then it'll become "fate".
-She asks Takeshi if he knows about the placebo effect, and explains how its positive effects can help with that interpretation. She then mentions about how the three statues can be thought as the goddesses of Lemuria, as well as goddesses of fate.
-She finishes. Kaburaki says it was interesting, while Coco praises it (humorously going "Brava, Brava, Bravissima!"). Takeshi admits he's impressed with how You is so well versed in medical training, mythology, and the occult. She says: "I just wanted to know about them, so I looked them up. Life is short, so it seems like a waste not to," which she says with a "troubled smile".

-Afterwards, they decide to go see Tsugumi. You explains that LEMMIH is monitoring Tsugumi's condition (I think). Earlier, Coco had said "Pyororin!", so Takeshi asks her what that means. She says it's part of "Coconese", a.k.a., Coco's language (Coconese is how I'd translate it... but was there something like this in the original? I can't remember.)
-They talk about loneliness for a brief moment, depressing Kaburaki. They arrive at the Infirmary, only to find Tsugumi is gone, shocking You, since she shouldn't be able to move for two months, and that LEMMIH should have noted this. She is shocked to find the computer is broken up.
-Coco notices Tsugumi's cast is on the floor. You is still confused, thinking that maybe someone came in and took Tsugumi out, but the sensors detected no one, so she wonders if maybe she was "spirited away".
-They then are confused why Sora didn't notice this happening. They contact Sora, who says the monitor system for the Infirmary wasn't connecting. Some of the systems are also apparently jammed, including parts of LEMMIH.
-Sora then uses the life sign search sensor. She finds Tsugumi in the seawater processing plant in Tank #2. The sensors indicate that she's alone. When Takeshi realizes she got out on her own, he gets both angry and worried. He goes running straight for the seawater pant. Takeshi wonders if it's his fault Tsugumi left, wondering if he pissed her off.
-He arrives at the plant, and quickly finds Tsugumi looking in the tanks. Takeshi apologizes and asks her to return to the Infirmary. Takeshi wonders if something's in the tank, and she hides something. He approaches her, only for her to say "Stay away... don't get any closer."
-She then tells him to get out of her way, and when Takeshi touches her shoulder, she shouts "Don't touch me!" and slaps his hand away, telling him to get out of the way (ah, here's the Tsugumi I know!) She then leaves, and Takeshi notices her right leg is working perfectly fine. He then grabs her skirt to examine her leg, earning him a slap. Even Takeshi thinks it was a dumb move in hindsight.

I have mixed feeling after reading all this.
At one hand they are adding some cool stuff, while on the other (as it was mentioned) they seem to be missing many of those little big things.
Right now I'd said its simply different rather then better or worse.

Absolutely sure. I asked him myself actually. He was very excited to be remixing them and hoping he would be able to retain the feel of the songs and make them as impactful as they were back then.

-Takeshi decides to go back to the others. On the way, Sora comes up to him, since she was wondering why Tsugumi returned when he didn't. They discuss the apparent miracle of her leg healing up already. Incidentally, the L-MRI is apparently the LEM-ARV now.
-Takeshi still wonders why Tsugumi went to Tank #2. Sora says they should probably leave that and the topic of Tsugumi's leg alone. Sora wonders just who Tsugumi is, as she's not in LeMU's staff data or on the staff list. In other words, she's not connected to LeMU.
-Takeshi returns to the Staff Room. Coco and Tsugumi are there, but Tsugumi is giving him the cold shoulder. Coco notices the slap mark on Takeshi's cheek (though she doesn't know it's a slap mark), and the others wonder what happened.
-You realizes Tsugumi must have done it, and tells him to confess what happened. Takeshi asks, "Huh?" You's response, "Well, you two are a young man and a young woman, and there was no one else in the area..." Takeshi gets irritated.
(Ah, the irony)
-Tsugumi just bluntly says "He turned over my skirt." Cue misunderstanding (Humorously, Sora's response is simply "I cannot believe it".) as the girls (except Coco) just quietly stare at Takeshi.
-Just then, Takeshi's view starts flashing, he starts panting, and he mentions he has a bad headache. Everyone else except Sora seem to be suffering from similar symptoms. You thinks there's something wrong with the oxygen, and sends Sora to check.
-Sora reports that the carbon monoxide concentration in the Staff Room is rising, and tells them to get out immediately. You falls to her knees in pain. Takeshi tells Tsugumi to get the others out while he takes care of You, and she agrees.
-You says "For it to happen now of all times..." then takes out a bottle of pills, but is having trouble with it. Takeshi gives the pills to her, and she takes three. Takeshi helps You out of there, assisting her with walking.
-They retreat to the Infirmary. You says she's fine now. Sora apologizes for not noticing the carbon monoxide. Takeshi realizes it must be because of the jamming. You wonders why it happened, since there should be safety systems to prevent it.
-Sora replies that because an explosion occured at the methane gas plant yesterday (sorry, forgot to tell you all about that), the fires resulted in a large loss of oxygen, and that there's almost no oxygen left in the Zweitestock, but the Infirmary is still all right.
-Takeshi is still freaked out because all their food is in Zweitestock, and they'll have nothing to eat unless they go out and search for more food. Takeshi asks about Drittestock, and Sora confirms it's still safe since it's separate from Zweitestock. Takeshi says it's probably best to move there.
-He then asks Sora about a route to Drittestock. Sora agrees to guide him, and Takeshi decides to go alone so that he doesn't risk everyone else's lives. He reassures Coco, and goes to the Control Room to see a map.
-Because the area is flooded, Takeshi will need to head for the pump room in order to drain the water blocking the water to the route to Drittestock (I think) confirm the situation. Just then, Tsugumi appears behind him.
-After being surprised to see her, Tsugumi then goes to leave, not telling where she's going. However, Takeshi stops her, having figured out she's headed for the pump room. Takeshi realizes the situation will be incredibly dangerous, and doesn't know what to do. Choice time: Stop her or don't stop her?
