That was done nicely (i'm sure you know what scene i'm on about). Its hard coming out of that scene, and not feeling sorry for Sekai. Still, it was done very, very nicely.

Why would you feel bad for Sekai in Ep 4 ?!? If anything feel bad for Kotonoha ... she didn't get in on any of Sekai's "tokkun"... =)

in any case sekai brought it onto herself...she was the one who played cupid despite her feelings for the happy yaro and insisted on interfering time and time again...i would say that she could have properly be in a relationship with makoto by now if she would just let those two break up (ep2)

well, here is how i understand the situation for Sekai

Spoiler for episode 4:

Basically, Her initial goal doesn't have any ill intention at all.
Sekai tries to match both Makoto and Kotonoha quickly, because of 2 reasons :
1) to "kill" her own feelings
2) to make the 2 of them happy

Why this reasoning? basically, If their couple are working well, Sekai will have no more hope, thus she can go on.
It looks stretchy, but the faster they are "lovey dovey", the least she will "suffier" in a long run.
Also she really cares for both of the slow lovers, this isn't hard to believe, i think.

However, her methods begin to be reckless, and she tries to think it is for the best and isn't really aware that she is doing the complete opposite and drawing Makoto to her.
Things get completely out of control when Makoto made the "intelligent" decision and jumps on her. At this point, sekai's feelings kick in, and give up, but still hide herself from her "lust" (the mention of training even if they are bypassing too much the "treshold").


In conclusion, i agree with shiroth and i can understand how someone can feel bad for sekai as well.
Why? because her plan backfired, and she is struggling between her feelings and her initial objective. The more she is is intervening, the least she is resistant. not to mention that the time isn't really in her favor.

After this incident, it will be extremely hard for her to hold her feelings, and being frank to both of them. i don't really think she feels "sad" but rather "bad", especially for kotonoha.

I have to agreed with Deathkillz about this, Sekai did brought this upon herself

Spoiler for Sekai Mistakes:

1. She shouldn't being the one trying to play matchmaker with Mokoto and Kotonoha, if she has feeling for him. I know if they like each other, they will eventually get together, I know that she was trying to hook him up because she like to do stuff like that but in the process, she starting to having feeling herself.
2. When they was about to break up, she shouldnt even try to bring them back together, let nature take its course. I know that she was trying to bring them back together, but I know that all of her meddling gave not only Mokoto false impression but Kotonoha as well, because its wasnt them who want it, but it was her.
3. Her "special training" wasnt a good thing to begin with. She was trying to show Mokoto the right way but because of his "intellgence" he try to take it way too far, if she was doing the right thing, she would had stop him and told him that he has a girlfriend already and he shouldnt do that to her but her feeling about him kick in, and we know the rest of the story

At the end, it is both Mokoto and Sekai fault, because of his "intellgence" kick in and her feelings about him, this situation happen.

While it all started with perhaps good intentions (although still very silly), the first push came from Sekai who invited Makoto to touch her breasts. Basically, it came to the point where she'd bait Makoto without knowing it, Makoto would take it one step further, she would give into Makoto, and then Makoto would try to push it even further, Sekai gives in, until the point where they really were about to have sex. I think Sekai ought to have known better.

Well I felt bad for her in episode 1-3. I may not have agreed with her actions, but I still understood that her intentions were good. She gave Makoto and Kotonoha their space, she helped them out when they asked her to.. that's all very respectable.

But in this episode, it's starting to get hard for me to believe she wants the best for them. She knows Makoto is a horny bastard, so her actions here are not just reckless, they're intentionally damaging ... She could have just TOLD Makoto what to do, but instead she seduces him with her body under the guise of "practice". Nevermind the whole "it's practice, so if you really kiss me, I'll kill you" thing, what happened on the roof was what she wanted all along when she came up with this idea.... no one would go that far if it's just to help someone with sex if they didn't have something else planned ....

and you know what ? I wouldn't have a problem with any of this if she had just came out and played fair.. ... so she can still do the right thing next episode and come clean...

I hope that she can come out clean too, and do the right thing but I just got a gut feeling that it wont happen because what happened on the roof, the seed of feelings that she has for that jerk has started to grow within her and like all plants they will grow and Mokoto will be starting thinking that as well. I hate that this is going to happen to Sekai, her good intentions at first is going to backfire on her and leave her with a choice that shouldnt even happen in the first place. I love this series
