Amagi Brilliant Park [Light Novel]
There is an upcoming anime adaptation for this, but as of yet no thread for the Light Novel source or the manga adaptation. The thread for the anime adaptation here on A-S can be found here: http://forums.animesuki.com/showthread.php?t=124081
Here is a little about the manga adaptation announcement: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news...-in-dragon-age Chapter one of the manga was released, so I figured this as good a time as many to make a thread for this. Summary: Kanie Seiya, a genius with both looks, intellect and athletic ability is suddenly threatened on a date to a park by the new transfert student. Turns out, the park is run down and the princess managing it wants our narcissic MC to take over and save it! By the author of Full Metal Panic! Oh, and there's Fumoffu too. For the record three volumes of the light novel have been released as of this post, in Feb 2013, Aug 2013 and Jan 2014.

You are welcome. ^^
Anyway, chapter one was okay... the whole level 4 out of 5 clearance thing was kind of surreal and got me wondering about there being more to the story than seemed at first.

There are definitely some supernatural elements at work here as can evidently be seen with that mascot. Our protagonist may have had some deep ties with this park in the past. I wonder if the author plans on using the setting of a theme park to educate the reader on its inner workings based on real life? The choice to make a handsome, smart, and cool protagonist that usually cannot be seen in the current trend of light novels is an interesting one.

Oh, thank you very much. This was a real eye-opener. Like, seriously, I was expecting SoL with some bland moron (the illustrations look harem as hell!), instead I get a super smart arrogant guy who's into monologues (still can't hold a candle to Kyon and Oreki, though), an actual princess and ACTUAL MAGIC!? Yeah, I'm so checking this out.

Hmm ... ch 2 is now available and it has an interesting twist on the princess I was totally not expecting, but which kinda impressed me.
Spoiler for Manga ch 2 spoiler about the princess:
Also - it turns out there is a multi-dimensional twist or some such present. And much, much, much more ... this series really looks like it could be rather engaging. ^^

I have only one question though. Is this whole series going to just cover those two weeks? Or is there more after the deadline? |

So it turns out that the magic WAS real after all. But I have to agree, two weeks is waaaaaaaaay too short a deadline.
EDIT: So with what little we have so far, I'm assuming that Latifa's life is literally tied to the existence of the park. If the park goes, well... Also, "A miracle is called a miracle specifically because it doesn't happen?" KANON vibes there, yo.
