So go ahead.
  1. Download and install this.
  2. Open Notepad and drag the .cue file into it (yes, that's possible). Edit it so that the file referenced has the .mp3 extension. (Assuming the rest of the filename hasn't changed.)
  3. Save and drag it into the Cue Splitter. Click "Split" (optionally create a new folder for the output), you're done.

These speakers will get fix'd.
Then you're gonna get rep from me.
EDIT: It's been 4 years. Why has no one translated Kaze Yomi Ribbon?

Awesome music! When the first track started playing I could imagine Kyon's voice flowing into my head, to start the whole story off (and probably to complain about something or the other).

The official Haruhi website was kind enough to post bigger versions of "Sweet Oblivion" for us today.

No confirmation as to the difference between pictures. I believe it is likely that there may be two versions of the CD cover, but I cannot verify the validity of that claim.

Also, the ENOZ album has been retitled "Imaginary ENOZ featuring HARUHI" officially.

It's the same thing they did with the Bouken Desho Desho? cover. You could have the animated-Haruhi one or the one with Hirano in a top hat.

And now that I think of it, "Super Driver" was also like that with Haruhi or Aya with ballons. I do love Aya with some balloons.

I've seen it for quite a few. It makes them more marketable - people who wouldn't ordinarily go near something branded with an anime character are more likely to pick it up.

Why would anyone like that want a CD connected to anime?

Oh I could think of someone who would want the anime cover...

Latest DVD features some live vocals of Super Driver, which I think would sound absolutely amazing in person.

I was actually surprised when I saw the video for Super-Driver. It was the first music video for an anime-based song I had seen, and it was a complete reverse of what I expected from my limited experience of soundtrack songs in the US. I mean, you know The Goo Goo Dolls's Iris? IIRC, the song was written and out before City of Angels, but when it got picked up by the film and turned into a single, the video wasn't just the Goo Goo Dolls - it featured bits from the movie, too. Same thing with that Aerosmith song and Armaggedon. (It's probably horribly obvious that I haven't touched a music video channel since ~1999, isn't it? Well, I used to watch the Disney Channel a lot, and they play music videos for their films using songs from their stable of kids, but they were also heavily tied in with the movie) But the Super-Driver video didn't seem to have a single reference to Haruhi.

So I guess that that video had the same purpose that the CDs without Haruhi have, when it comes to increasing the potential market and revenue.

I agree with that. Since lyrics can be interpreted differently, an anime watcher and a non-anime watcher will have different listening experiences. Some people won't even go near anime songs despite them being good songs, like Sweet Oblivion. To diversfy their market I guess it's necessary to do two covers. Also, it gives a sweet touch to collectors

On a side note, I searched thoroughly through the song lists at Karaokes all over my country (it's a small country, anyway), and the only song listed under Aya Hirano was Super Driver, using the Aya Hirano MV. No other Haruhi songs could be found (really was looking forward to Hare Hare Yukai/Yuki, Muon, Madobe Nite). But since Sweet Oblivion has a Minorin MV I guess I can look forward to it in the future
