from what I heard, Bones is doing the physical examination chapter for next episode as what u can see from the preview for next week. They have jumbled up the sequence. As for Renge, is predicted that she will most likely to appear episode 4 or 5.

I don't think yuri has anything to do with this moment. It was done purely for the comedic effect of Tamaki losing Haruhi's first kiss to a girl by his own clumsiness. What's even funnier is the Kyoya knows him so well, he set it up to happen this way knowing Tamaki couldn't help but fall for it. Kyoya is most definitely the Shadow King.

And someone correct me if I'm wrong but are the twins calling Tamaki 'Danna'?

I love how Tamaki refers to himself as Haruhi's "DADDY". And he even referred to the other dude as the mom. He's hilarious!

I thought the second episode was better than the first, but that's just me.
Tamaki/Kyouya as parents, ootoro, the love letter, all too awesome.

Oh and Erroll, I think you're referring to Hikaru and Kaoru referring to Tamaki as "Tono"?

H: I'm only interested in Hani-senpai. Only interesting things happen around Loli-shota characters. Too bad he doesn't have large breasts ]

The second episode was brilliant, it was even better than the first which was not bad at all. So many over the top comedy moments and yet there was actually a decent plotline. And the more I watch, the more I like the animation style and quality.

Thats good news. Actually there are some differnces already between the manga and the anime nothing major though. This is just for episode 2 or chapter 2 of the manga.

Kanako's character in the manga is very klutzy. When Haruhi asks her about how much Kanako like tea cups she spills the tea and burns her hand. Haruhi escorts her to the nurses office where they bump into Suzushima. He gets really concerned and tries to look at her hand but Kanako backs off and clutches on to Haruhi saying Haruhi can help her take care of it.

When Kanako tries to leave the nurses office Mori hits her with the door so hard that she passes out, the door gets broken and Honey gets hurt. Mori gets sad but Haruhi tells him Honey will be ok and we see Mori smile for the first time.

At the dance party Kanako sees Haruhi and walks up but bumps into a table where all the food and drinks fall everywhere.

And like I said earlier the dance actually takes place during christmas so when Suzushima catches Kanako a christmas tree lights up in the background.

When Haruhi kisses Kanako all the girls start saying that Tomaki tried to stop the kiss since he was jealous and wanted to kiss kanako and then someone yells out hes a "kissing machine." Haruhi gets upset maybe even a little jealous. Tamaki tries to say it was a mistake and wanted to protect her first kiss but Haruhi sarcastically says "thanks to you I had my first kiss but I didnt know you were that greedy of a person or maybe its a new type of bullying isnt it?" Tamaki goes to a shadowed corner and Honey tries to cheer up Haruhi with cake.

Ouran Host Club 1 out by Doremi-fansubs. This is a good anime. Hope it becomes our "main focus" project of the week.

Wow, episode 2 was awesome. Best anime I've seen in a long time. Pretty much every anime out there has at least SOME moments where the entertainment drags a bit, but Ouran High has been 100% entertaining 100% of the time so far. There isn't a single second I stop smiling when watching this show!

On another note, Haruhi is awesome! I think she may be turning me into a lesbian...

Oh, and does anyone know how long this series will be? I want it to last forever~~

there are some slight differences though

in the manga Haruhi seems to be a "sharper" person she notices things much and Tamaki is much more of an idiot it's also a shame that they did not put the guess who is who game played by the Hitachi brothers in episode 1 it would have been nice

Sooo true! While watching both episode 1 and 2 i smiled all the time too! Tamaki is too funny This series got me hooked form the first second i watched it.
I truly think this is the most promising anime released this season!
Bones did it again! This series is AWSOME!

This show is amazing. The comedic timing, the animation, the editing...the visual comedy has some refreshing elements all wrapped up in some wonderful VA work. There were a few trite parts to the script, but no major flaws. This show goes in my Top 5 current watching list.

I'd guess that they are saving that game for a future episode. If they had put it into episode 1, the episode would have been too rushed and it would have been crowded. Perhaps it will show up in an episode where the brothers take center stage.

I think that change is a welcomed one. Stuff are sometimes too exaggerated and extreme in the manga. I know, it's suppose to be funny but it tried so hard to be funny that sometimes I feel the humor is kind of forced. Well that's my opinion anyway. I think the anime has a better balance in terms of characteristic.

I can only say that I am enjoying the more subtle emotions and humor in the anime as opposed to what is being described about the manga. Because things are subtle, I have more to think about. I like thinking. It also means that I can go crazy laughing about a couple of well placed arrows. If it was full of such exaggerations, I'd be too numb to laugh just because there is an arrow pointing at the spot where there was formerly a bannana peel.

Based on the first two episodes, I can say that it is currently an unexpectedly good show. The two main characters remind me the main characters of HYD but in a more funny way. The idiocity of the characters is not exaggerated, which is a good thing. Maybe the seriousness of the female character balances those behaviors. Anyway, I am looking forward to the future episodes.
