I can't see what the problem is. Whoever made that picture, I don't know where it came from, you'll have to ask Kitsu Breaker, believes the top two pictures demonstrate an Amadeus reference, and then shows which roles might be assigned to Nobunaga and Mitsuhide. Why should they have to look like Mozart and Salieri?

The problem is that if you look carefully you'll note there's no much resemblance at all, specially between Salieri and Mitsuhide, who show totally different expressions. I don't know but whoever made that picture was grasping at straws IMO.

it's not just because of their respective rivalry? After competing in the movie world there are probably a lot ... no?
Then I'll be honest why people trying to look for reference to the duo Oda / Akechi ...? and therefore has as much to make their original historical character as referance you disagree? Instead of looking for complicated ... As for other "episode" the person seeking his referance of this film is ok but for the Oda and Akechi not you find other characters to referance to them ...? much do the same things with other character like Hideyoshi, Masamune Date ect ect ... <.<

Sengoku (Present) 20 - All The Men and Women, Merely Players
When last I saw this story play out, Hidaka's Hideyoshi and Toyoguchi's Nobunaga's almost romantic relationship triggered the murderous tendencies of Kitamura's Mitsuhide. But this time, the story is different. It's focusing on Mitsuhide. It's said that the story is most sympathetic to whoever the camera is turning its focus on, and that holds here. Even if Nobunaga had good intentions, Mitsuhide's inferiority complex was tough to watch. Again, excellent work by Yoko Hikasa, and all the cast members from previous episodes who returned. This Sengoku World lacks the naturalistic feel of Nobuna's, or the world out of sync of Otome. It's a parallel world in every sense of the word, a wonderland where the architecture is more about concepts than physical structure. It fits with the tone the show has been going for. A slightly mysterious, fantasy place. Where Honooji isn't just a temple, but a massive pillar of flame that shoots into the sky. That makes two people who have rejected having their treasures taken. And while Mitsuhide is no longer in focus, she's on the run. (Also like Masamune.) It is through the eyes of others that the story will conclude. And tying it all together was the wonderful, classical background music that gave the episode a dignified air. This show will stand as one of my all time favorites if it keeps this up. |

Episode 20
It's funny how much yuri is implicit in this episode I think we have a new champion. Like... Mitsuhide likes Nobunaga. Nobunaga starts liking Hideyoshi more, and that makes Mitsuhide mad. (love triangle) But in real, Nobunaga likes Mitsuhide more, and wants to be by her side in the end... but is a frigging tsundere and prefer to hide that from her. Then, like a mad cheated girfriend, Mitsuhide put fire in everything, but something goes wrong and ends up killing Nobunaga. When they encounter each other again, Mitsuhide says: "It was my fault, my body is ready(only for you)" But also goes all tsundere, changes her mind and run away. And Rikyuu enters in the middle and says she could die for Mitsuhide. (a love square now) Well, kinda interesting way to tell Sengoku history... Quote:
I need to translate it somehow... Now I know the best episode(18) is based on Dancer in the Dark. I'm still missing the Potato Chip Guy, I have a feeling he'll make an amazing comeback someday. Last edited by Jasque; 2012-08-16 at 23:15. |
