You can get sick from simply drinking too much water, which is what Yuuka did. IIRC a woman died last year from water intoxication, after she was given a diet which required drinking absurd amounts of water.

Yeah, but I didn't know you act like when your drunk when you get water poisoning.

Water poisoning is very serious. Don't drink more then 4 liters of water a day. If you sweat a lot, be sure to also take some minerals.

I like the major increase in humanoid-Gekka screentime, and at least at the last moment KKN remembered to have some semblance of a plot. Other than that... meh.

I notice that most people who hate this show hate Kyouka... she really does carry the show.

I doubt I'd find a SINGLE person who thinks Kyouka would be "a redeeming feature to a flawed show". Not a one.

That being said Kyouka is so crazy I can't help but laugh and like her.

The last subs have appeared. Thanks to SS-Eclipse for doing a great job on this series. Had to be one of the more difficult shows in the Spring season.

I found the end to be touching, and it had some good little moments throughout. The one that comes to mind is Kyouka's three or four successive flying kicks launched against Hyouka, Teika and whoever else.

Overall, I found this show to, at least, always provide something interesting to watch. Loved the voice cast, and find it a bit of a disappointment that the character song CD had to be cancelled. So much lost there. I did like how all the little elements - Mujakky, Pierre, Milcatopy, Hyouka's love interest - returned throughout the series. It was a fun ride.

Finally, an amusing little picture to bridge the gap between Kyouran's closure and this season's beginning.

KKN was clearly the toughest job we ever tackled. Alot of hard work for the translator (machine gun style talking), timer (many, many instances of multiple talk at the same time), editor (hard fight to shorten the subs without losing the details, in order to make them readable) and typesetter (lots of wack signs). It also didn't help to have one typesetter retire due to father duties and another to retire completely, with the remaining one completely overloaded with all shows plus university exams. Which is why we had no choice but to prioritize and let KKN fall behind while one translator and me started to learn AFX from scratch.

I liked the conclusion. The final Gekka/Gouyokuou scene was pretty touching, and there were alot of small nuggest of laughs spread throughout the show. It was also cute to see characters from former arcs return, giving us an idea what happened to them.

In conclusion, it was too uneven to be considered really "good", but it was a solid and relatively unique show which was enjoyable to watch to pass the time.

7.5/10 from me.

The water problem was solved using the family speech, where she turns into some water, and the next thing we know, she's back to normal. Then we have some idiotic "competition" revolving around Greed King's love... Not to mention, but in the midst of all of this, some of the development still was confusing... like the water being blown out for some reason... And the end has Kyouka going to that underground place for some reason... Yeah... Just flew by. I guess this episode wasn't completely stupid, because the Gekka scene with Greed King was awesome (considering this anime's standards)! Gekka (human form) is great... If only she could replace that annoying Kyouka... And Greed King was great too. Makes me support Greed King x Gekka. But that was all that was good... Spoiler for final thoughts: If they ended in the first half, I would have a better opinion of this, but overall, it wasn't all that great. There were some arcs that were good, but quite some bad episodes too. The ending arc was pretty bad, in a confusing manner. Though Gekka got lots of time at least. I guess the main weakness is... that it gets confusingly/pointlessly fast and feels like they burned a book in a volume or so at times... Character-wise... I didn't find them all that good. Liked some at the beginning of the anime, but by the end, I didn't care anymore... Favorite characters are Gebok, Gekka (human form), and Raichou, I guess. Raichou really did nothing, huh... Kyouka was really annoying throughout. Song... None I like... Character designs were awkward too, though I got used to it. Final: 6/10; To think this came from the person who wrote Mushi to Medama... Figures KKN wouldn't go for the DRAMATIC CONFRONTATION for its final episode, instead going for some random WTFery... and somehow it's fitting. Overall, it was a mixed bag like serenade said. Some good, some awful, all funny. Unlike Negima!? the plot held on for much longer but wasn't as engaging. Raichou never had any room to DO anything... which is a disappointment, but what should she have done? I'm still scratching my head over that one. I think the only thing I liked about this episode were the parts where Gekka appeared whereas the rest of the episode can be considered as crap. They seem to be very good at killing all the suspense built up from the previous episode (no matter how it got there amist all the randomness) with some sentimental talk...they didn't even explain what the water was doing etc... And I just laughed when the real Kyouka came out as water Gekka is such an awesome character though, she is so cute. It is such a shame that she was stuck in between this medicore storyline. Her blushing is enough to melt the poles (Greed King has good tastes ) Overall thoughts Spoiler: Good start bad end is all I can say for this series. I can take randomness, but when it goes to the point where nothing makes sense then there is no longer any enjoyment. Even randomness has a story but this series seems to take that all away. They would start a story but usually fail to full complete it before moving to the next or leave so much holes that you don't even know what the story is about. More character development and less randomness? Also there are still a few mysteries to be cleared...one being Senko's older sister sigh The characters are all quite static despite going through so much experiences. Ouka, kyouka, teika, Ginka doesn't seem to have changed much since they were first introduced. And it is also a shame that we never got more of Senko's Gin sama charms Gekka on the otherhand remains my favorite from the series.
