Well, it was about time I got to making this thread! So, info on the latest OP flick is trickling out:

First up, a pic of who seems to be the main antagonist of this film, a fellow known as Gildo Tesoro:

It looks like Tesoro runs a gigantic casino resort ship that doubles as the world's largest city of entertainment, which seems to be where the Straw-Hats' adventure will take place. Interestingly, the casino ship is even recognized as an independent nation by the WG:

Credit for the pics and info goes to various AP members (mainly Redon and Sandman). Anyways, an adventure on a luxury casino ship sounds pretty fun! Definitely looking forward to more info!

I don't think "Tesoro" is the correct spelling of the new character's name as the "o" is clearly a long one. Something like "Tesaulo", or "Tesawlo", or maybe just "Tesawl" would be better.

That casino-styled ship looks majestic as f**k. I'll definitely watch this movie.

Well actually it's literally "TEZOORO" but I haven't the faintest idea how to romanize it. It sounds vaguely Italian.

The older woman looks kind of like B. Jenet from Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolves. Now I wish irrationally that Fatal Fury could have a crossover with One Piece. Hell, Jenet already has an alternate outfit with shorts and a strawhat in KoF MIRA.

Canon or not, this idea pretty much breaks up the whole main storyline to pieces since not everyone would be willing to take the risk of travelling to Raftel but chase this guy instead

Seems like the "whatever you touch turns to gold" power is finally being used in One Piece. How would Luffy defeat something like that? It'd basically be a 1 hit defeat.. Wouldn't it? Or would it be more like Aokiji and Mr.3 where you can shatter or melt the ice/wax? Guess we'll see. He's bound to be defeated in the end either way.

I have a bad feeling about this. This is exactly the same horror I felt from Baron Omatsuri. It sent a chill down my spine and then has my blood boiling in rage.

I wonder which hilarious excuse they will use to render this godlike devil fruit useless.
Its impossible to stay alive with such thing in this world with Emperors, Revos, WG and pretty much everyone running after you.

I have to say, this looks like it'll be a really good movie! I'm glad that the villain isn't hyped up this time to be on the level of Shiki vs Gold Roger and Zephyr = Admiral strength.

I am worried about how OP an "everything you touch turns to gold" devil fruit would be though. I mean.. I assume that the Ocean itself would be exempt from the power because devil fruits are weakened by the ocean. So we won't be seeing anything THAT crazy.. (the ocean turning to gold, I mean). But there could be things that would be just as bad, like an entire island or enemy ships. Did we see him threatening Akainu at one moment during the trailer? This will be very interesting. I'm excited!

So... Strong World gave us Garp and Sengoku early.... Film Z gave us Aokiji early... now Film Gold gives us those guys early?

Is this going to be a trend with the movies?

Hmm... Maybe CP-9's early? Strong World gave us old era which was Roger, Garp and Sengoku and Film Gold probably about CP-9 early.

^ They are in CP0 now actually. Which doesn't really make sense to me considering they completely failed their biggest mission which they spent years of their lives hiding in Water 7 to accomplish, and sent the buster call to the island of Eneis Lobby, and got destroyed by a noobie pirate crew. So yeah.. Let's give them a promotion!
