Watched it.

This was directed by Masami Obari? Save for the last fight at the end, it really didn't feel much like his usual style. Granted, I'm used to his old 80's work, so maybe it doesn't translate as well in current gen anime.

I think the series could go either way: A fantastic and fun series or a total trainwreck. We'll have to see.

Oh, and I NEED A PLUSHIE OF ROMMEL THE DOG, NOW.

considering its now a larger team battle with more members i hope that that doesn't effect the character development for each team member, well due to a much larger cast as a result,

or this will like a Gundam equivalent of Inuzuma Eleven.

Ansasatsu Keikaku also has Gundam in it's name, but it's much better as Gouf Custom is much cooler MS than some invincible boring devils. Also I full name of IGLOO include Gundam in it (I checked on multiple places just now).

Anyway there are cases where works are named after enemies to be defeated, like Pluto, Diablo or Monster. So it would be nice if once got mc who doesn't ride on gundams plot armor, but instead have to defeat it.

Rommel is already my favour character BTW.

considering its now full on VR with the players using custom avatars, this is a huge opportunity for a gag of the players using icons of the franchise, like Amuro, Char, Domon, Heero, Kira, etc. which i am still not sure now makes a lot more sense than the 'reincarnation' joke cameos in Build Fighters.

Looking forward to 00 Diver and AGE-2 Magnum. I'm just happy to have 00 Gundam back, as 00 Raiser is still my favorite MS design of all time.

That why I said core title in my previous post. Almost every entry in Gundam franchise has the word "Gundam" in the complete title.

not hating on SAO but i hate it when people compare any anime about VR to that series alone, i mean there are other series that focuses on VR predated that thing since the 80's, hell there's the .Hack franchise if you want to get extra details.

We don't know yet. Since the teaser date called it a Gundam Build Fighters project, there's a reasonable chance of some sort of connection.

The prologue is alright, I will give it 5/10.
-Characters dive into VR world to watch the show from another TV screen.
-Most of the characters use real names for their avatar and the most famous guy used his FULL NAME cause he worries his fan can't find him in the real world.
-Cute animal pilots the MS as easy as he has 10 fingers.
-The main battle suddenly has random lights fighting against each other for more than 3s. Ah... This is the same shit with Try, as expected from the same director.
-Scare of dragging a character's value down so they settled with a draw between best players, that's right, they are not lost bc of their abilities.
- Why do I feel like the dog captain will recruit the protagonist and his friends.

considering the VR system, makes me wonder if the Gunpla still takes damage like the Plavsky operated ones of BF, or it works in the same manner as the units from Gunpla Builders Beginning G.

Most likely the nocebo effect where players take damage themselves but this needs great concentration of particles.

I grew up watching G-Gundam on GMA, everybody thought I was weird since Yu Yu Hakusho was considered the IN thing, nobody wanted to pretend tp be a giant robot and shoot each other with head vulcans, it was all finger banging.

The VRMMO-things is not retarded. The old battle arenas using Plavsky still need a considerable space. In our modern times, space has become more and more of an issue and it gets even more expensive, so it's natural for a company (eg. Yajima Trading) to eventually convert the Gunpla battles to the net if they want to maximize profit.
