Now now, that's quite interesting turn of event

As usual, despair girls duo is quite entertaining. I wasn't excepting Monaka to copy Junko to the extent of even her boredom. I guess Nagito did a "very good" at educating her considering how far she went.

Anyway, the plot twist this week was indeed what we thought weeks ago: Monaka isn't the mastermind at all and was merely screwing around due to her interest in Makoto.

It's quite strange for Danganronpa to pull out silly twist like this, really. Are we sure this is not some sort of thick from writer to make us stop thinking about UDG relation to the main seriies?. I meant, if something that we think "It's probably doesn't matter anymore" and completely stop thinking about it turns out to be the important plot point later, it will be the surprise.

I don't think Shirokuma/Kurokuma has been explained completely yet... I'm sort of glad Monaka is still alive though as a space NEET.

Frankly this episode confuse thoroughly, Monaka sudden changed mind truly epitome for randomness but i am not buy this " she go to space stuff". This probably another Monaka troll attempt to troll Komaru and Toko, Basically that whole go to space stuff just randomness acting from Monaka to deceive Komaru this is Monaka super duper brilliant inducing despair plan to spread the seed of doubt among Naegi and his friends, she want to let Komaru and Toko to inform Naegi and Byakuya regarding 77th class traitor to spread doubt among them, I do not doubt there is another mastermind but i don't think 77th class gen are the traitor this obviously false information left by Monaka but there is no way Naegi and Byakuya will doubt Komaru-Toko words. Monaka has succeeds to succumb Naegi into the despair, she manage to corner Naegi to not trust his friends thus seal his lingering ray of hope.

Okay i just watched the sub so i got it wrong it's not the 77th class the culprit but one of them is going to die.
If true, then i hope it will happen we have too many new casts die so please kill one of old casts for balance.
Anyway, for rest i still think Monaka just trolling because that sudden changed mind is too random.

This episode was pretty much solely to tie up all the still loose Another Episode plot threads. Monaca sure ended up being just one big red herring huh? Screw hope and despair, she's done with all that shit, she's just gonna drift out in outer space forever and not have to think or worry about anything for the rest of her life.

The most I got out of this episode is that they're pretty much telling us they're gonna kill off a character who survived in DR1 soon and personally I'm almost certain it's gonna be Kyoko. If it isn't her I'll honestly be surprised considering the foreshadowing they've been feeding us.

BTW, I ended up having to download a fan-subbed episode this week. Dunno what could've caused the delay on Funimation's end but it's quite unfortunate.

Togami's heading to Future Foundation HQ, not Jabberwock Island. He's already been there before and met Hinata/Izuru, so they're not enemies.

I'm really surprised about Monaca's change and also the other Former Despair kids don't want her to die, either. Sad that she admitted to killing the real Gekkogahara.
So does this mean robot Gekkogahara is "good" robot, now.....

I still don't know who the attacker is, but Munakata's out for blood......and where the hell is his Boxer buddy?

No, Togami better not to die.
Iincluding Naegi and Kyoko everybody from first game survivors can die but Togami is too valuable for humanity and the world to lost him If Togami die then FF will left without leader position.
Well, of course they can make another leader type character to replace Tengan or Munakata but so far based introduced characters so far Togami is the best person to replace Munakata and Tengan.
Naegi definitely not leader type, Kyoko better for being advisor or someone in 2nd place, hagakure,Toko and Asahina definitely out of question

In my dictionary 3rd rate stand for not of high quality; mediocre or inferior.
I would not judge Monaka with 3rd rate, that is too early there are 5 episode left, Monaka maybe just being random. Knowing Kodaka he might set up Monaka for something bigger or else her hype from DAE just gone wasted away.

The part where I say she is basically a copy of Junko explains it pretty well imho.

Being Copy & paste of another villian, plus the fact that she is there 'for the lolz' don't exactly make her a proper first rate villian.
