I'd say thats quite a big deal then, only because I'm a baseball fan so I know how that parade feels.

It's pretty rare for an anime episode to make me LOL in awe from the sheer awesomeness, but that's just what I did when that phone call happened at the end.

It's basically criminal how good this show is. Especially with the manga on hiatus I feel like I go through massive withdrawal symptoms when the show takes a break like last week.

I believe that's a story Togashi wrote years ago that's going to tie-in with the Phantom Rouge movie, rather than a full restart of the manga.

So Kurapika's identity is finally known by the Troupe.
That's going to complicate things.
Gon & Killua's backup plan half failed.
At least Kurapika managed to capture their boss.
Looks like Kurapika managed to bring some dismay into the phantom troupe.

He only thinks it doesn't matter because he thinks they'll let him die. Whether or not they do is yet to be seen.

Damn, dat episode. I'm shaking from the sheer awesomeness of it all. Kinda surprised Kurapika didn't use the Judgement Chain on Chrollo but I guess Chrollo would probably intentionally break a judgement to kill himself if he needed to. I wanna see Hisoka text Kurapika too so Kurapika can arrange a better plan.

Well now I hope you got what you wanted these last few episodes .

Phinks, Feitan and Shalnark disagree. They are more loyal to the concept of the Spider, whereas Pakunoda, Machi, Shizuku, Nobunaga and Koltopi are more loyal to Chrollo, regardless of what the man himself claims their priority should be. And of course Pakunoda is in the least enviable position here since she's the one who's effectively got to decide which side to betray.

But that's what makes the Phantom Troupe such great antagonists, they're a very well organized collective, but in the end they're still individuals of their own whose viewpoints will sometimes clash. And watching that happen and the way these amoral criminals surprisingly bound by loyalty try and work things out in their own way is rather fascinating to watch.

And spades, and diamonds, and clubs.

Really, that's one of the hilarious parts about him. In animated form that aspect of him is lost, but in the manga he constantly speaks with suit symbols.

I see (as someone who hasn't read the manga) the message here as that the Spiders are human beings, with human weaknesses. Just as his hate for the Spiders both gives Kurapica great strength and makes him vulnerable, their loyalty is both their great strength and a great vulnerability. In terms of broadening the Spiders as characters, I thought this development was fascinating.

Togashi seems to really like those ambigous looking folks that would look good as crossdressers. Yu Yu Hakusho had quite a few.
