BATTLER is hardly your random meta character: he is the only one who managed to blast goats en masse, while Will and Dlanor had difficulties to do so on the longrun.
This and "that punch".

Nowhere close to creator or traveler witches, but potentially the strongest "ushiromiya and furnitures" character, closely followed by Beato, Ange and Maria.

BATTLER was unable to mow down the goats again, though. Sure, he had a powerful first strike, but after that all he had was a punch whilst his sword charged. If his first strike missed, then he'd be an above average "ushiromiya and furnitures" character, but by no means the strongest. I'd say that the Siesta troops are probably among the strongest, seeing as they could mow down anyone apart from the endless magic users with one hit.

nitpick, they couldn't take out Erika in the last battle, and Erika's not an endless magic user.

I'm loving Ronove's and B.Battler's quotes the most as of yet, along with Kanon and Shannon's initial declarations. Can't wait to see the rest, thanks for taking the time to translate them.

Restating an old idea of Battler being simply edited instead of creating a whole new character cause lol. Just change his C attacks to slashes and his Meta Super to him firing a giant Gold, not Blue, Truth laser. Less work for 07th Expansion and (presumably)less waiting time for us.

I could definitely see Featherine as the ultimate challenge of the game considering she's so overpowered in the context of Umineko's world. Just being able to manipulate the world to her liking, not put any effort into fighting at all and still be victorious.

In that case though she shouldn't be playable, have no swap-out partner, and her maximum health should decrease every time you lose to her and try again. Sort of like Parace L'sia from Arcana Heart 3:

Fuck this bitch. Seriously. It's unbelievable how many times I had to retry before I could actually beat her, even with the handicap. Frustrating as hell. But it's oh-so-satisfying when you do finally bring her down.

But anyway, from that video you should be able to easily agree Featherine would be an appropriate character like that for Golden Fantasia no?

Haha, I just wanted to post that!
But I wanted to emphasize the end of that video.
I would SO laugh my ass of if Featherinne turned out to be oneshotkill character but on the other hand a character that is completely useless as long as you don't let her charge.
God, I actually want that to happen so much.

Black Battler in your system voice.
Black Battler in your online play.
Black Battler in your balance slot.

So, the new patch will be released at midnight (Japan) and will add character fine tuning as well as Black Battler for Network mode (finally!!). Furthermore, the second tweet says something about additional system voices, if I'm not mistaken.

The notes:

・黒き戦人がネットワーク対戦で使用可能になりました。
 ・黒き戦人のシステムボイスが追加されました。(黒き戦人が解放されている事が条件です)
 ・空中ガード後も地上と同様の投げ無効フレームが設定されました。
 ・空中ガード後の硬直が延長されました。
 ・アタックタッチが空中ガード不可属性に変更されました。

 ・ネットワーク対戦時に選択したBGMが反映されない不具合を修正しました。
 ・ネットワーク内のトレーニングモードで体力設定が反映されない不具合を修正しました。
 ・その他、細かな不具合を修正しました。


If someone can translate these, please, it would be helpful. Not trusting Google translator at all.

B.Battler's culprit move has been changed. I THINK it deals less damage (not too sure, 480 against Beatrice now) and it knocks the opponent up at the end regardless of well, everything. Also, it seems to last shorter... but that might be the opponent being knocked up at the last hit giving that illusion.

Other than that, I'm not sure, Google Translate gives gibberish aside from the things we already knew.

No, the damage wasn't affected, but it indeed force a knockdown, which isn't too bad (combo finished so to speak). The number of hit is the same though.

Translations:

-Black Battler is now playable for Network mode.
-Black Battler's system voice has been added (this requires Black Battler to be unlocked first)
-A throw invalid frame has been added after an air guard, similar to the one on ground.
-Block stun after an air guard has been extended (they use 硬直, which means rigidity, stiffness, petrification, so should be that).
-The attribute of Attack touch move against an air guard has been changed.

-The glitch that prevented BGM selection for Network play has been fixed.
-The glitch that didn't apply the life bar settings for training during network play has been fixed
-Other issues have been fixed.

The SP2 is still potent enough for end combo damage and stun damage. It isn't as vanilla as other regular damaging SP2.

And no, they didn't give details of the other possible changes or specific tweaks.
