To keep things somewhat consistent with the manga, I guess. In the manga Yumeko has deliberately kept only a few votes (supposedly part of some scheme).

3 billion on a coin toss, so crazy. I'd die if I'd ever made such a bet. But I guess this means we get season 3? After all they made Yumeko lose all her votes so that everything is back to how it was before the whole "Bami" conflict. So now Yumeko and Mary can fight the other Bamis in the 3rd season for the overall election victory.

Honestly that wasn't much of ending, but I enjoyed it anyway. Batsubami was a decent enough mid-season finale boss to end on considering how much presence she had throughout the show.

I get that they needed to return things to status quo and Rei was an effective antagonist, but Yumeko losing all her votes does make the final gamble feel a bit hollow.

In the manga Yumeko explains she does this for a reason. I don't know why they didn't add the explanation in the anime.

Anyway, basically Yumeko says it doesn't really matter how many votes you have. Kirari is not that kind of person that would have made a game so boring that you could win just by having the most votes. Yumeko believes just a single vote will be enough to win in the end. Mind you, Yumeko didn't really explain how, so I've no idea what she means.

The election is both popularity and respect...yumeko cared little if she become president as much she can gamble...her words are right, a single vote will be vital..Hers.

Yes but generally speaking no one would bother gambling with you if you don't have a lot of votes to bet. Specially participants who already won a lot of votes. They would just ignore you if you have a single vote. That's the logical way to think about it.

Since Yumeko wants to gamble with Kirari who has a lot of votes, Yumemi told Yumeko she should keep all the votes they won from Natari. But Yumeko refused. She thinks there is a trick to the election. She won't need a lot of votes. Just a single vote will allow her to have a good chance of winning the election, and that will give her the chance to gamble with Kirari.

A single vote will decide the election.
