the only thing I understood is the soy sauce technique
I never making sweets so I don't understand anything they mentioned though

but after reading the chapter, I still can't believe Momo is in her 3rd year of highschool

I will gladly accept that outcome if the author really has the ball to make Erina lose at her first debut. In fact i will change avatar to real Momo for a month if she really ended up winning against Erina.

Yeah, I really don't see Erina losing in her real first time cooking (where we can see he skills). If it happens, hats off to the author for the curveball. And yeah, I want to see Souma's reaction to Erina losing, if she does lose.

But I want Erina to win. Not only would it make Momo stop calling her "Erinyan", it'd also show that she's at least on the level of a Second Seat on the Elite Ten. I really want Erina to put Momo in her place by beating her here.

Yeah, I bet the imagery the judges get from Erina's dish will be one of her breaking through the defenses of Momo's castle and destroying it. She has this in the bag (unless the author throws a curveball).

I notice an interesting pattern if all the remaining matches in the regiment will go as we predicted.

Mimasaka: lost to the 4th seat in the 2nd bout, avenged by Souma in the 3rd bout

Megumi: lost to the 3rd seat in the 3rd bout, will be avenged by Erina in the 4th bout

Takumi: will lose to the 2nd seat in the 4th bout, will be avenged by Souma in the 5th bout

Erina: will lose to the 1st seat in the 5th bout, will be avenged by Souma in the 6th bout

It seems that every time a 1st year loses to a 3rd year Elite Ten, they will be avenged by another 1st year in the next bout. The pattern also suggests that: Souma > Erina > Takumi > Megumi > Mimasaka.

I don't think Erina will lose to anyone, at least not now. She is the boss that Souma will have to conquer before the final boss - Asura. If anything, she will be the last woman standing. However, I'm predicting a 2 vs. 2 match in the last round.

Yeah, the final round is pretty much going to be Soma + Erina vs WEAKEN Tsukasa and Rindo.
