Seeing them use Kai's character designs felt a little nostalgic, haha. Part of me kinda wished they had another character designer on board to keep with the frequent change in art styles across the franchise.

According the novel, this's just a fantasy / illusion world (a kind of weird stories imaged by Miyo).
I think it's before Takano's caught...

It seems like DEEN's only saving grace is Higurashi. If this turns out to be as good as the trailer, DEEN will make up for a small portion of the massive damage they've done.

The two first seasons were shitty, but Rei was a great adaptation, and Kira was funny, even tough the op was.. Well lame, and the first ep was too punch at some times (Rika...)

A little unimpressed with the animation quality and while I don't mind Kai-style designs (it's my favorite, actually!), I was hoping they'd get another character designer. And the animation for Rena at the end of the trailer looks really strange to me.

Oh, well... I'm still happy we're getting more Higurashi.
