Interestingly enough, if I win the bid I made last night (oh I hope I do) it means that my defense is finally catching up somehow with my Resists, at least as far as my monk is concerned. I'm this close to breaking the 1000 All-Resist mark, and that's unmodified by Time of Need. Now if I can only do something about my LOH or DPS...

Anyway, is it better to attempt the climb of the Crystal Spire solo? Given my experiences my experiences with a team that includes a Barbarian and a Wizard have been pretty good, so I'm tempted to go public for it.

Yeah, I think you should solo.
Unless you have a well geared and well coordinated team, good luck fighting the Morlu sorcerers elite packs

Incidentally, is there anything up with the launcher? My D3 client keeps on updating itself (the blue progress bar) whenever I start. What's up with that?

Looks like Blizzard got compromised. Time to change passwords and wait for the mobile authenticator software update.

Hmmphh... "Get an authenticator" line blew apart eh? But at least they admit it.

^ lol...yeah. Blizzard needs to get an authenticator to protect themselve from being HACKED.
not just us. i have an authenticator, but still feels kind of paranoid with the type of security blizzard has. >_____<;

the hack happened on aug 4, but they announced it on aug 9. since we havent seen alot of "i got hacked" topics in d3 forums i guess the passwords were encrypted pretty well.

OMG!!!! Here is 1.04 preview. they say it's gonna be release 4th week of August...i guess
that's soon. can't wait! i'm liking some of the fixes. i'm gonna play D3 again once this patch hits.

You could condense the entire post into the last statement and still get a "F*** YEAH!"

That affix was a complete killer when grouped with 3 other "Screw You" affixes.

what's the best/easiest/cost effective class to gear and MF farm with? i have a budget of around 26m to spend.

taking into consideration that trash mobs will be dropping alot more, i feel its good to go for MF now. and also the fact that we can now go full MF while other people do the job.
