Hah, just like season 1 (and the movie that I didn't even know existed until now) it was all nice visuals and nice sounds, but ultimately it has no substance at all.

I did notice all the bishies but at least we had Seri so it kinda balanced things out. Besides, I didn't know Anna became the new Red King Queen so the story may have more substance this time around, maybe.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong but..

if you're having a sword fight and you're running around with that short skirt, isn't it kind of useless since it's guaranteed to roll towards your waist as you move?

Well, Seri's not exactly high up on the spotlight list to begin with.

Which makes things worse. They just have her on screen to show off her butt. She's not even a character really. She's just butt and tits with a name attached to it.

I really don't understand all that rage we have worse series like mao sister or hagura yuusha(which are actually from the same guy) or series like to love ru which are basically soft core porn and i don't see peoples complain like that.

I prefer what gora do than what that others series do to be fair, at last we don't have pedo bears all around the place and others things which in my opnion are too disgusting but even with that i try to not rage over it.

They do fanservice but at last this is not the "main selling point of the show unlike a lot of softcore porn ecchis, which basically the sell point is have a guy molesting girls of all ages.

That's what I don't like. Someone actually asked me if Reisi has to either step down or die from being king, would Seri replace him? And I could never see her that way. Not only is she too much of a "permanent second" like Kusanagi is, but also she's really nothing but walking, talking fanservice most of time. But really, that's most of the girls in this series with the exception of Anna.

People talk about needing women because there are too many guys, heaven forbid females actually get some fanservice of their own, but come on. I know sex sells and stuff, but this was even beyond that. It just makes Seri a non-character.

I hope this is the last time too.

With a cast severely lacking in females, that's a welcome sight.

She's more important than the other blue and red grunts. She's practically the only one in SCEPTER 4 besides Reisi who has an understanding with someone from HOMRA.

Yeah for sure the only reason i could bear the first season was for the girls otherwise i could have dropped fast due to the too much BL in first season, some scenes where very hard for me to deal but i accepted as part of the show and since the girls specially neko make me keep hooking and not just for sex appeal but i really liked her moe/kawai carefree way of be.
i'm still hoping she get her king back even if that king swing for the 2 sides(and more for the bl side).

No, a welcome sight would be female characters who are there for the story, not for fanservice. Fanservice girls don't mean anything.

The only female character who seems to have some plot relevance is Anna, and we still don't know how much relevance she'll really have. The other two are just decoration, and I don't care for that sort of female characters.

Honestly I don't have much of a problem with fan service, its excessive fan service that gets annoying. That fight in the beginning was beautiful and you can tell a lot of the budget when towards animating it, but that over the top Seri fan service during it was just jarring and took away from it.

not true neko was a very important character in both first season and in movie and gonna be important aswell in the same way kuro is, she and kuri are the only shiro followers.

Really, I've watched quite a bit of BL, yaoi, and other things, and the first season hardly had any, a couple of hinted scenes here and there, but Free! had more BL hints in it then K ever did. I think you might be watching this series for the wrong reasons.

I think that a series can have a mostly male cast and have females in it that actually serve a point to the story other than to be eye candy. People have been having mostly to all male cast in series for ages, and that sort of excessive fanservice has never been needed.

I've gotten used to fanservice, or I should say I tolerate it. But this was just way beyond excessive.

But then again, that's my opinion. Even as a female, I no more want to see a guy in a series just for his glistening pecs, than I want to see a female in a series just for her unrealistically bouncing breasts. want those pretty characters to have a point. A reason for existing. Not just be there to look at.

There's a difference between "doing something" and being plot relevant. I will admit that she does do some minor helpful stuff at the end of the first season, but she was really there just to be infantile, do cute stuff, and fanservice. That's it. She was the key to Shiro's memory problems, which WAS plot relevant, but that was it. In the movie, all she did was fight some guys, that was it. She could have been cut from it, and it wouldn't have made any difference in the long run.

neko had more relevance in first season than anna which was basically the pet of the group just being cute and little she only get important in plot in the movie when she turn in next red king.

And neko still important cuz part of the plot is exactly she and kuro jorney to find shiro, that was just the first episode where they focused more on homra and scepter 4

about my reason to watch to be fair i really liked the actions and the plot was really good not just the girls but all the yaoi scenes disturbed a lot, specially misaki and glasses psycho and munakata and mikoto they had a lot of YAOI specially the end with shiroxshiro with a "hug" from behind that hug disturbed me a lot, but i endured it because i really liked the plot, the same for free, while the YAOI disturbed a lot specially the glasses "happy" guy, but i endured all because the plot was fun and i was not complaining over it.

again comparing the fanservice in that show with the fanservice (aka soft core porn) from others series like testament or to love ru, where basically the plot is around molest girls i prefer that than the others, that is why i dropped testament to be fair i already aware since i tried to read the manga but i get too much disgusted in the same way i get in to love ru and i'm a male, i also don't like shows which basically are around sexualize the girls but my level is a little different, when i can stand some "half naked shots here and there" in few episodes i can't stand to a show where basically the girls will be naked or half naked or showing they tits in 90% of the show, then normally i prefer to drop try to watch for maybe comedy if have and is good enough to distract from all the disturbing scenes.

It's been a while since I've seen a K show, and I still have no clue what's going on, but the music was impeccably on point in this episode.

I am so happy they are doing more with K. What's tough for me though is they are making a bigger deal out of the little people when I need my shiro!

i'm still think which the colorless king was presented with the "black or purple color" kuro is the exemple his name means black and his power as colorless classman was a dark/purple hand like that "black" bottle.

whatever probably we only gonna know about the last king in another movie or ova or another season.

I call, over a dozen bishis running around taunting each other, lighting the fuel of yaoi fangirls, excessive fanservice. Why no complaints there?
