As long as it doesn't revert back to Okawari levels of utter atrocity and the new staff put more effort into not channeling Okaeri's QUALITY production, it should be fine... maybe. But after those wildly inconsistent sequels I don't know if I even care about Minami-ke anymore. I'm fine with just telling myself the anime ended in season 1.

It's sad that the second season looks awful, but makes up for "so bad it's good" quality. Anyways, hope that the new season will follows in season 1 footsteps and not ending up trashed like the other two seasons.

I personally liked both the second and third season despite being less funny than the first. The director knows his comedy though with stuff like Nyan Koi and Mayo Chiki being directed by him. More Minami-ke is always good.

Chaiki has the gradiant hair again?
Oh well. Aside from the one episode of rage inducment in the second season (Ep 6) most of the rest of it was fine. Asread's staff seemed to have issues with comic timing early in that season but got over it after Ep 6. Plus they gave use some rather epic Hosaka moments even without his delusions. Also some interesting stuff once they got their timing down (the pool episode was really funny). The...one character...remained an annoyance simply because he failed to fit in...and it annoyed not only the audiance...but also Chiaki-hime (never annoy Chiaki-hime without going for comedy...it doesn't suit the show). He almost became interesting...the same time they pulled him from the show. He never fit in with the jokes, and wasn't even reasonable as an audiance insert character. Add to this the rage inducing Ep 6 (dude gets to spend the night with three Minamis, in the dark, in the cold, under a blanket, and reacts....poorly) and we get the one that is generally not named. The third season has the comic timing down again, but suffered from less than ideal art (and a noticable lack of the "serious" or "Bible Black" faces as they are known in some groupings.) However they did get the character interactions correct and brought back the relevant characters. Also a new character that was used only once, but from what I understand is used more in later manga. Plus we got the Curry Song out of it. And Mako-chan. Always Mako-chan.
