@Twi: That's not exactly the Head Witch, though, is he? If anything, he's one of the three Heads (if the Three Sages can be called that). By himself he isn't ruling, since he only oversees education and occasionally listens to some issues. The other two have more important jobs. Or at least that's the impression I got.
But yeah, he's pretty chill. And as described in the chapter, very eccentric. And it's great that they can retake the test right away, but I do wonder how they're going to surprise Beldarut with their magic. I hope they can do it. I'm worried about Beldarut saying they'll look for Alaira and Eunie. I just hope they can stay hidden from the Assembly, since there's no telling what'll be done to them if they're found. The people from Qiffrey's atelier will also be in trouble then. It'd be great if they can find a way to completely undo the forbidden magic on Eunie without having to use forbidden magic themselves.

So the retest begins next week. Looking forward to what it'll consist of.
Man, that guy from the Magic Security Council who hails from the same place as Orugio could be bad news since it looks like he's on to something. I really hope the Assembly doesn't end up finding out about Eunie and/or what the Brimhats are planning with Coco. If they find out about any of that, it'll be bad. I like the magic Coco came up with to help Qiffrey. But speaking of Qiffrey, I do want to know why he left the Assembly. The thing about people rarely leaving the Assembly without a good reason, and then Coco wondering about why Qiffrey left and saying she doesn't know anything about her professor, seemed like foreshadowing. And yes, Eunie's teacher really is a dick. But they should be fine since, like Orugio said, Alaira should be able to stay two steps ahead of him.

The manga just updated. Those girls are clever. I gotta admit, this was easily the best work I've seen from them and they earned everything they had coming to them. Now if only someone would learn not to keep following mysterious voices...

Very beautiful! I loved how the girls themselves got surprised at their own surprise when they created a rainbow through their rain and sunshine magic. XD
That smoke calling out to Coco worries me though... no way there's a Brimhat inside that city, right?

Yeah, I'm also worried about that. And the voice also mentioned forbidden magic. I hope Coco'd be more careful. Didn't hearing the words "touched by forbidden magic" make her even a little bit suspicious? I really hope it's not a Brimhat luring her in.
Anyway, yeah, I'm glad they passed the test. Their own surprise also surprise them was good. But the rainbow really was a nice touch.

You think him asking her to become his apprentice is part of a test? If it is, I wonder what she needs to say in order to pass. Maybe accepting it will mean she failed. I guess we'll see next chapter (or later).
But yeah, I do want to know why he wants to also keep her away from Quiffrey. It could be just because the Assembly, him included, think he's a problem witch for having run away from the Assembly (and for whatever his reason for running away was), but I wonder if there isn't something deeper. Like maybe Quiffrey actually is bad news.
