Why don't you think about their personalities and parralells.
Ena- proactive/ aggressive. Mariya- More submissive and timid/shy

Erica- Aggressive, proactive, provocative etc
Lily -Wants to be toyed with (her fantasies)/ submissive when it comes to sexual acts.(When they kiss she becomes submissive)

Godoe's "role" in this will be essentially the same with both groups of girls if you think about it.

The two authorities make sense actually, Godou is designed power wise to be a perfect god slayer as a reflection of Rama who is the perfect Devil King slayer.

Gotta love how the after thinking of more and more contrived ways to deny Godou from gaining new authorities the author said "fuck it" in the last volume and just doubled the amount of authorities Godou has.

I always consider Ama no Murakumo and Stormbringer as authorities. So I never really feel like author is denying Godou anything.

well, that is because only Ama-no-murakumo was obtained in a straightforward manner aka Godou smashed it with the Boar

Both Stormbringer and Lancelot are somewhat unconventional as authorities:
_ Stormbringer is the result from the combination of various power and attributes gifted to Godou
_ Lance of White Knight: well, Godou was supposed to receive an authority after beating Lancelot, but the Holy Grail interfered and Godou was empty-handed until Lancelot came back and pledge her allegiance Godou.

In addition, these two become available quite late into the game, and for the majority of the LN Godou had to scrape by with just The Persian Warlord and Ama-no-murakumo

Eh, not like the number of authority even matters since in godslayer fight we just can't predict on who will actually win. Technically of course if we exclude Godou since he's the protagonist.
