Misaki looked gorgeous in that dress. Loved how she switched to perfect proper lady mode, I didn't think she had that in her. Inori Minase seems to be having a lot of fun voicing her.

A wild HanaKana appears, but her character is probably minor. Kubo-san comes back tomorrow so I'll get my dose there!

It's still unclear who put the hit on Polka but at the very least Takeru wasn't involved at all in killing Suzuka. And he seems to care greatly for his siblings, but unlike Polka they don't threaten his standing.

Rozan is a pretty cool old man. He seems to genuinely love all of his family and figured out "Polka" was an impostor right away. I thought it was a bit far-fetched for him to reach that conclusion but then the episode introduced a guy who can impersonate anyone without using magic so... seems pretty normal

And it seems we have no problem achieving that. Vol.2 already got covered faster than I expected.
The real fight with the episode count will be trying to cover up to vol.10 in second cur. That is the conclusion of the first major story arc that is packed with a lot of emotional grand reveals.

I didn't know this was two cour, really happy since I'm enjoying this a lot.

He and Nisio are the best writers the anime/manga/LN world has to offer. Incidentally, they suffer from the same problem: they juggle between way too many works... I'm still waiting for Fate/Strange Fake to be completed before reading it, but he started it like years ago and it's probably not even halfway done.

Corpse God himself stated Lemmings has no powers though. He's a human who pushed his body past its limits. That Solitaire guy also stated Troublemakers are people who perform feats that look like magic... but aren't actually magic.

Just to point out that that Takeru wasn't aware Polka is alive according to the previous episode. But Clarissa already told her client the hit didn't end well and will cut ties from now on.
So, at the very least, Takeru is not the one paying Clarissa for the hit. As the said client should already know Polka is alive.

On the othern hand:
This is cut from the anime, but in the manga Corpse Temple made lengthy description on how different Lemmings' soul is. (More like a plant or rock than human being, like a collective of insects that formed a human shape, etc.)

Then in anime his soul is colored purple, which happen to be same as Urai, who happens to be the top contender when it comes to the Reaper's identity.

You know, in past he sometimes wrote a novel every month, he slowed down lately.

If I remember right, F/SF was planned as 10 volume series and 6 are published so far. But as always, it is posible that more are planned now.

I went back to episode two where we get to listen to her inner thoughts and the first few questions after her initial shock at behind alive when she was revived by Corpse God. It comes off as less of a surprise that she knows how to behave properly in society circles.

Her behavior may be more of an affectation than we realize. She turns it back on when she realizes they're surrounded by Clarissa's people.

Seeing "Murciélago" mentioned this episode was really surprising. And Phantom Solitaire looks like a fun villian.

Passing the half way of the first course and finally Solitaire is onstage.
An episode full of that man, what fabulous experience.

But wait, I hear Nobu from the grocery???? Now that's a surprise casting.

original polka is starting to become a fun and interesting character, I hope he gets his soul transfer in the android and starts talking, it should be fun.

solitaire is hilarious, this anime has a lot of fun characters.

The dad is pretty chill. Given what he said about karma and the fact he's managed to build an entire empire with connections to the underworld, he probably used to be a real hard-ass. Betting meeting Polka's mother changed him. Glad the misunderstanding's cleared up at least.

Solitaire is very entertaining. His feats are very impressive, considering they were done without magic.

I love the MV. I didn't notice it was Inori Minase singing the ED until I came across it. This is by far my favorite song of hers, and my favorite theme this season. Yes, even more than Yoasobi's "Idol".

Rewatching the episode again reminded me how Shagrua's power level got exaggerated by that one piece of false information, and how Corpse Temple is among those who believed it.

And the flashing umbrella handle, didn't expect it was hinted thus early.

I don't think it's too strange. Polka is a teenager and Misaki is really hot, not to mention she keeps pressing him between her massive boobs. He knows she personally had nothing against him either, just doing her job.

Forgiving the person who ordered the murder, that's another matter.

Polka is weirdo and in this world its completely normal to be weird. Question isn't if it's strange (because everyone is), but if it's in character and answer to that is resounding yes.
