Polka's mother being Corpse God's mother is a pretty crazy reveal. How did she end up in this world? I don't expect any answers in the anime, of course.

yeah, that was a big surprise. I thought it was some kind of connection between worlds or something, but it was her real mother after all.

I would love to see the real polka in a body so they can sit a talk about her.

It seemed like their mother either died or disappeared when real Polka was very young because Corpse God had to dig really deep to find a memory of her.

yes i didnt read the manga but i expect it wont reveal for a while. also can you explain to me please what fire breathing bug meant when they put their wills in those peoples using hypnosis? i didn't understood that part of what they realy are. is it some kind of mental personality?

They basically implanted another personality into those people is what I got out of it.

yes you right it basically personality induced into people by using special hypnosis. To add to that regular people have no idea what has been done to them, but like sleeper agents can be activated at any time to assume the firebreathing bug persona

I think this is legit one of my anime of the year. Very enjoyable characters, very enjoyable mystery and story.

I kinda lost interest to the end, paradoxically just when they started making real reveals. Still a 7/10 for me.

Yeah, this is classic Narita all the way. Truly a blast from beginning to end.

They cast Sakamoto as Elsia? Didn't expect her, but hey she fits.

Anyway, here is a full explanation on what Elsia Sabaramond was plotting.

Spoiler:

The assassination if Corpse Tempke by his dad was never about Corpse Temple.
Elsia was after Flam's life all along. But he is protect by the Wandering Raft, Izliz Soltflail. Thus there is no way Elsia can kill Flam by any normal means.
Elsia resort to blind side Izliz by aiming her pupil. She gave the dagger with a cursed poison that blocks ressurection to Corpse Temple's dad for the assassination. Wandering Raft, overwhelmed by the concern of her pupil even asked Hollow Gun Throne to remove the poison from Corpse Temple to save his life. While overlooked the dagger contained a second curse is in the dagger and binded Corpse Temple's name.
Also wthe reason why Riz dislike using his real name.
Then things just floew naturally for Elsia. Corpse Temple got turned into an undead, as that's how Necromancer save someone's life when ressurection is blocked.
The cursed dagger was confiscated as evidence of the assassination.
Then Elsia as a master Necromancer as well, just need to took control of Corpse Temple that's under her curse to kill Flam with that dagger at the right timing.

According to Arius Sabaramond (no.4), Elsia did all those without telling Arius Sabaramond (no.7), who served as the Imperial Court Mage. It was suspected that's why no.7 cut ties with other Sabaramonds and went missing.

As for why Elsia wants to destroy the Empire, she was trying to open a hole that connects the isekai to Earth at the Bayadian Penisula. She controlked Geldwod Cult as the holy maiden has periodically collecting technology from Earth by opening holes to Earth.
Guess how the Bastard Child of Sabaramond made their way to Earth?

BTW, Corpse Temple's misfortune after that is also because of Elsia. She was the one who ordered the attack that killed the children under hus care.
She is also the one who sent Shagura to kill him later on

At least they finished the story arc with Civil & Co this season. Still, a lot of questions left. I may check the manga later if I have time as I doubt we'll get another season.

It was a fun ride, but not nearly interesting enough for me to check out the manga. My least favorite Narita work by far.

like the previous cour 8/10. It was pretty fun and ended well, I got lost sometimes in this second part but still it was good.

It just introduced a bunch of characters... and solved a few problems of a few of the new characters. And they introduce even more characters at the last episode. I like stories that end, not ones that try to never end by endlessly adding characters

The fire bug stuff from the first cour was a decent mystery, but I didn't care much for the new stuff here.
