That look on Mika's face when he saw the Mobile Armor activate reminded me of Setsuna's face when he first saw a gundam. Hopefully Mika won't develop his obsession. I don't think we have ever seen Mika so fascinated with something else before.
Every time you think Iok can't prove himself to be any more idiotic, he finds a way.

HAHAHAHA, I'm laughing my ass off that this gundam show went metal gear on us. Don't get me wrong, I love it but still, its really funny.
Also, countdown till Iok the dumbass dies. He is going to die, right? Oh he better. lol I'm really glad this episode showed how useless beam weapons are vs MS. I was afraid that this show would degenerate into the beam spam of other gundam shows but that fear is now gone.

Gotta admit that I'm really impressed with the presentation of beam weapons in this series. I was under the guise from last week that it'd be super overpowered but instead, they made them as powerful weapons but not ones that invalidate the melee emphasis of the series as a whole. Well played to the writers.

I did a review here, but to keep it short, I liked the explanation for why mobile suits have nano-laminate armor and were named after demons and devils. Who better to oppose an angel than a demon that can clip its wings. That being said, Iok is literally the source of all the problems in this episode. All of them.

How Mika will defeat the MAs
Atra: Mika! If you don't stop them we'll all die! Mika: I got it, don't worry. Kudelia: And they'll damage the soil, meaning no more MARS PALMS! Shaking Mika: Mars palms...no...more...Mars...palms....? Barbatos...can you hear me? Give me all you've got. |

This was a great episode, but I think one of my favorite parts was when McG mentioned how the MA's wiped out 1/4 of the human population, and Mika with food stuffed in his mouth starting counting on this fingers trying hopelessly to figure out how many people that actually is, with his face showing he's at a complete loss. Also him seeing the mass murdering AI that killed millions of people as a 'beautiful bird' is also just amazing.
