all the girls have some sort of feeling toward him. they may be uncomfy if he touched their hair but they wouldnt hate it. they would like for him to do so but not want to admit it. her possibly losing her post in the family did scare him off but it wasnt going ever happen even if she couldnt take it.

i doubt that counts as a dead end but it probably does count as strike 1 for him. a rematch may help to correct it a bit but wont erase the damage.

Mori called him a coward because he wasn't even willing to try the wager out, and also was not willing to have her live with him in the worst case scenario.

Spoiler for Episode 12 (End) + Review:

It's a great final episode. I thought the GJ-bu members would leave their precious club, but thanfully it didn't really happen, and it seems Kyoro, Megumi and Tama are really moved by how Mao, Shion and Kirara are graduating school and the great happiness happened between them on how they remember the many amount of fun they spend at GJ-bu. Most of the series revolve on how Kyoro gets involved in various comical situations provoked by the female classmates, but suddenly learn the very nature behind the club as well the girls. The character development was pretty nice and I like how Kyoro grow up as a truthful man with ups and downs. The female characters have really good personalities and it's true that they like to mock Kyoro for comedic reasons, and it seems Mao have strong feelings for him as well. The beginning seemed like a mere slice of life but becomes masterfully impressive very quickly. In the end I am very glad I enjoyed it, I missed much of its fun, and I really appreciate that it will have a second season if the success prove to be steady.

GJ Bu The Final - A Story in Triplicate

I really enjoyed GJ Bu, for a few reasons. The humor was right up my alley, and the characters were all lovable. Tama wasn't used quite as much as I expected her to be, but with the cast being fairly large (factoring in Mori and the sisters), it did a good job (pun unintended) giving everybody their fair share. The best way to describe the final episode was quiet. Until the OP kicked in, it had a very still mood, with just a lot of scenery shots and almost no music to speak of. Apparently Kirara is a lot more verbose in text message form.

It's easy to compare GJ Bu as being a less fourth-wall-breaking (and also less dramatic) Seitokai no Ichizon, even moreso because I was watching Lv. 2 right alongside it. I always thought graduation was supposed to be a second cour/second season kind of deal, but I do feel I know these characters well enough after 12 episodes to feel it. And there's always the spinoff if they wish to continue. Maaya Uchida's great voice work was on display, and the 4-koma light novel concept is really unique, but might be tough to replicate. A story must be told in the medium best suited to telling it.

And in that regard, GJ Bu worked well as an anime. I'm really glad I got to spend time with everybody in this show. From Canadian catgirls to the hamster president.

It was a fun ride. In fact, the most fun of all the shows I'm following for the season. Not to mention I'm at the least state of being informed prior to watching, available articles to give me insight about it not helping much at all.

All in all, GJ to this series for making me stick from the start till the end and... shaking my emotions knowing it's about to end.

I'm glad I picked this show up. The graduation scene and several girls spending one-on-one time with Kyoro was funny. This series was better than I thought it would be going into things. I'll miss it.

I'm actually surprised that they went through with having Mao, Shion, and Kirara graduate. Especially Mao, who seems to be the one most attached (heh) to Kyoro among the girls.

The last episode closed off on a good note, and probably best justified why I picked this up when it first aired. It's been good fun following this and waiting eagerly for the next episode to come the last couple of months. The laughs it brought definitely will be missed.

The humour in this show wasn't too exaggerated overall, and proved that you don't have to go to extreme length to make things funny - all you need is timing and the right moment to execute the punchline. This series probably goes near the top for my rankings for slice-of-life comedy shows.
