....Liam O'Brien always gets stuck with the crazy, glass-wearing scientists. Gawd I love him.
Of course because of his voice actor I expected him to show up late in the series with a flying chair. I can't help but imagine that. Priceless. |

I too loved Liam O Brian as Lloyd:love! My other favorites were; Steven Blum as Tohdoh, and Crispen Freeman as Jeremiah! And Kate Higgins as C.C. was well done also.
All in all they had an excellent cast of VA's on hand for this one!

I loved the dub, and prefer it to the original apart from just one character.
What the hell did they do to Nunnally? Maybe it's just because her Japanese voice is so cute, but her English voice just sounds weird and annoying. Though she did do alright at the ending, I suppose. |

The dub for both seasons were done so perfectly
Never found an issue like I usually do with most dubs where its either bad voiceacting/words they choose to say/bad timing. I wonder though... Who exactly dubbed Code Geass? Would like to see more dubs from them anytime soon.

I liked Cowboy Bebop and Ghost in the Shell's dub as well, they were well done in some way.

Mary Elizabeth McGlynn (the US VA for Motoko) has directed anime?
I knew she was a singer, and did a episode of Star Trek Voyager back in the day but I had no idea she was also a director. Thanks for that info azul120.

Yep. She's also directed many episodes of Naruto, as well as many video games. My friend who has worked at Atlus and Konami has worked with her on more than a few occasions.
She also guest starred on Quantum Leap, which got her alongside Scott Bakula. Spoiler for a little more fun:

Mary's VA listing and other cool stuff can be found here at wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Elizabeth_McGlynn
Wonderful authority-bearing voices! Hazzah! For me I liked Steven Staley as Asahina. Wicked good. Plus Jamieson Price has always been a favorite of mine, so him doing Schneizel was pretty awesome. |
