I think one story that deserves a mention is Kirita the Kuroi Kenshi. Basically, it is a retelling of Sword Art Online with Kirito, Asuna, and several other characters being the opposite gender. A few characters, such as Klien and Agil, will remain the same gender, and their relationship with Kirita will have some differences and similarities to the canon storyline due to her gender. There have been two chapters released so far, and it has proven to have potential.

The time I heard "I want to stay with you tonight" before SAO, it was a girl speaking with a deadpan, and invited a tsukkomi from Sugita/Kyon:

Yeah! Another chapter.
To be honest, there was a lot Asuna's POV talking but at least you did switch to the third person narration when it's time for other characters.
Can't wait to see how Asuna joins ALO.

Well I am a little confused. Did you like this chapter or not?

It will be a little while before Asuna joins ALO, but I hope you will enjoy the building up that time.

I do enjoy it except Asuna's narration felt long for me.

I can understand that. However, since Kirito is generally the narrator for the series except in the scenes he doesn't appear in, I figured I would go for the same route with Asuna. Not to mention, I think it makes it easier for me to get into her character and develop her relationships with other characters. I am personally glad how I portrayed Kirito and Asuna's relationship in the retelling of Sword Art Online.

The fanfic Halkegenia Online now has it's own TV Tropes page.

You guys should read this since it's constantly updated and the story gets more intriguing especially since it's a crossover with Familiar of Zero.

That's good to hear for that fanfiction story and its writer. I wonder if my story will have the honor someday.

Well it is going to be a long story, so it may happen along the way.

I am actually working on the fifth, sixth, and seventh chapters right now. I am primarily focused on the fifth of course, but I put down a few things here and there for the sixth and seventh chapters as well putting down plans for the chapters beyond that. I think the overall length of the story will be over twenty chapters, and I already know exactly how it will end.

However, the group gets chased by the Reconquista Inquisition. However, the group escapes but lost 20 people including Arguile. Meanwhile, Emily, Wale's cousin, manages to convince Captain Thorn to send her to Tristain so she can seek help with the Faeries over there. __________________
