You die pretty quick in MW3;so taking 1.5 times more damage, or even 2 times more, will be ridiculous. lol

Btw: Stopping Power is now a deathstreak. yippee

Most are veteran voice actors over 30 years old. Unsurprisingly, nearly all are men, with the exceptions of Tanaka Rie, Kaida Yuuko, and Ueda Kana.

While she may be still strongly associated with higher pitched girl voiced characters like Lacus Clyne (Gundam SEED/Gundam SEED Destiny), Chii (Chobits), Kujou Hikari/Shiny Luminous (Futari wa Pretty Cure Max Heart), and Neptune (Chou Jigen Game Neptune {Hyperdimension Neptunia}/Chou Jigen Game Neptune Mk2 {Hyperdimension Neptunia MK-II}), Tanaka Rie nowadays performs much more deeper, mature voiced characters (too many anime, game and drama CD credits to list here). Tanaka's current adult women roles in Japanese dubs of English-language live-action television series include Dr. Katherine "Kat" Manx (Michelle Langstone) in Power Rangers SPD and Alexandra "Alex" Hunter (Gloria Votsis) in White Collar.

Known for her deep, womanly voice, some of Kaida Yuuko's recent voice acting credits include the ratings-obsessed Hero TV producer Agnes Joubert in Tiger & Bunny; Listy in Queen's Blade Seasons 1 and 2; Elizabeth Maybury in FREEZING; Hikari (Sekirei No.11) in Sekirei Seasons 1 and 2; Lana Lang (Kristin Kreuk) in the Japanese dub of the North American live-action television series Smallville; and Io (Gemma Arterton) in the Japanese dub of the 2010 Clash of the Titans live-action movie. And Kaida also does boy's voices.

With their mature-sounding voices, Tanaka Rie and Kaida Yuuko seem suitable choices to voice characters in Call of Duty.

What about Ueda Kana and her high-pitched, youthful-sounding girl voice, always much in demand for Japanese anime, Japanese games and Japanese drama CDs, but maybe not so much for an American first-person shooter game?

Perhaps Ueda voices children or maybe teenaged girls in Modern Warfare 3.
Great, it means that we're gonna see the dub one later that month (December).

Yeah, that looks awesome. I cannot wait.

Between BF3 and MW3, I am going to have at least a few (short) hours of single player goodness to replay over and over and over again.

They have excellent marketing skills, but it's underwhelming to see the same visuals, sound effects and editing techniques from previous years.

And that is precisely the point - these are for those seasoned and/or confident players who think the bonuses offered (IIRC, a kill is worth 100 points; so I'll leave the arguments about specific numbers to those more familiar with them) are worth the drawbacks.

Not quite, although some amusement could be had from a Jinx playlist. One way this could work is that being the top-scoring player comes with a price: as long as you're in that position, one of your perks is swapped out for a random negative perk (only these don't have the XP bonuses of their elective siblings). Consider that Black Ops' Sticks and Stones playlist does something similar (the position of lead scorer gets the Pro version of With Bells On as an additional perk).

See that's the thing even for vets having to deal with negatives all the time will wear thin and doesn't help new players at all.

If your able to choose a playlist that has these negative perks that rewards bigger and better then fine but if it has to involve everyone then no wouldn't work.
And rather pointless if it only applies to the top player of the match cause that could be anyone be it new or seasoned.

I'm all for a challenge myself but there are times when I don't care about the challenge and love pwning the noobs.

Looks like Brian Tyler will be composing the OST. His previous works include Fast Five, The Expendables, Rambo and Battle: Los Angeles.

Yeah sorry was too busy looking forward to BF3.

It looks good and I'll probably buy it eventually but I can't say I'm too excited for it.

Wow, I didn't really quite notice it before, but the launch trailer really shows how the COD engine has aged since COD4 (Don't you remember how awesome it looked back then in 2007?). Or maybe it's because I've been watching way too many BF3 trailers. Time to invest in a brand new spanking engine, Activision!

Probably the reason I won't get another Call of Duty game unless someone pools funds with me; it ain't changing enough for me to even be remotely interested. As long as everyone doesn't leave Black Ops I'm fine with that.

Freaking awesome live-action trailer

ACDC's [Shoot to Thrill] goes well with these kinds of things

Hahaha, that live action ad should strike quite a lot of chords with COD multiplayer vets.
