Wow! I cant wait for this episode. Pity Impz's not here, and the subbers are being delayed too

On another note, is it just me or is Kasahara's Dad shorter than Kasahara's Mom

I have been watching re-runs of this and other shows a lot lately

Sad because all I'm doing is watching re runs. None of the newer episodes have been subbed yet for the series that I am watching. I believe ep 8 is really good, but theres been nothing out so far.
Same for Himitsu, Amatsuki, XXXholic, Nijuu Mensou no Musume etc. Reading summaries on the blogs isnt the same hence the sad smiley.

It's a confused smile actually - I wasnt sure if that was indeed the case. The sad smiley wasnt for Kasahara's parents at all

In a way, it almost is saying something about DojoxKasahara. Or so, I would like to think :P

Episode 8 was the rocks!!

In the intro, Genda calls Kasahara a mountain ape. LOL! And anyway, some potential Asako/Hikaru.

It seems we'll find out in episode 9 about Dojo being Prince Charming. I wouldnt be too suprised if it's true... I was sort of thinking it might be him.

Too bad the spoilers for 9 isnt out yet, I am very interested in seeing how Dojo tries to get his hands on Satoshi's letter while a taller Kasahara is keeping it out of his reach. The preview for this looked fun ^_^

Ep 8 was a good episode. The contents of the letter hint to me that Prince Charming (PC) must have done some really cool things if just by being PC's rookie, the charges against Kasahara were dropped. Not to mention, Satoshi said, he felt humiliated.
I really hope that if Prince Charming is revealed, then the series mention what he must have done to garner such respect or awe. There has been references to PC in the past; so I really would like to know what he's done. Besides causing obvious trouble of course.

OMG, i found this anime a couple days ago and... its great!!!!
I mean, the plot about saving the books its not that solid but the chemistry its all. I love Doujou, he has some kind of Sousuke complex that i adore. (i used to think that sousuke and him share the same seiyuu but... no)

Doujou reminds me of Sagara too. Except that Doujou's more...human...than Sagara and that is exactly what I like.
About the seiyuu: nope, but they sound pretty similar that's right.

TinyRedLeaf Moving in circles Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Singapore Age: 49	Giggly giggly giggly It's been two episodes in a row of KasaDojo and I'm loving it! :3 (Arrggh...this show is turning me into a teenage schoolgirl! ) Spoiler for Episode 9 (RAW): (1) Laughs and giggles galore as Kasahara tries to hide her massive embarrassment over the possibility that Dojo is her Prince Charming, only to end up even cuter and more adorable as a result. What's more, Dojo appears to have a crush on his "precious" subordinate. I mean, come on; I get that he's a great officer and what not, but no officer goes that extent to help a subordinate pass her exams. (Just admit it you silly boy - you <3 Kasahara! ) I laughed my heart out when he tried creeping into the female dorm. Dojo the Stalker, hehehehe. In the end, it's still not clear whether Dojo is really the Prince Charming, but Kasahara has moved along and accepted that she does, indeed, like Dojo. Enough to go all red when Dojo "asks" her out for a date. (2) About the art and animation, it was slightly off in this episode. The characters look different from their normal design in several instances. The animation was sloppy in a few places as well. I suppose wao can explain why, since she's good at picking out who's who in the animation crew. (3) Massive kudos to Miyuki Sawashiro, Shibasaki's voice actress. Her old lady and ghostly voices were spot on, and very well delivered to boot. Especially her old lady voice, which sounds completely different from Shibasaki's elegant enunciation. I wouldn't recognise her if Ms Sawashiro were to play a grandmother in another show. With her talent, it's not surprising that Shibasaki can effortlessly hold the attention of hyperactive children during a reading session. It's even more amusing to see how egoistic she is too - Shibasaki knows she is good and she isn't afraid to show it. Shibasaki proves once again to be the very epitome of female beauty - a perfect balance of hard and soft traits. EDIT: Wow! Talk about being slow and dumb - I just discovered that Ms Sawashiro is the voice actress for Shinkuro Kurenai, the male protagonist of Kurenai. Hahahaha, how could I have missed such an obvious link between my two favourite shows this season! Indeed, I'm completely clueless whenever it comes to voice talents. (4) Interesting bit about the flower in the Library Defence Force's emblem. I've wondered about it several posts ago and speculated that it is a daisy. I don't understand what Dojo said, so I'll have to wait for the translation to see if I've guessed correctly. It was the favourite flower of Commander Inamine's late wife apparently. Given how the flower appears everywhere, in both the OP and the ED especially, I figured that it has great symbolic importance, and it looks like I'd soon know. EDIT: I should have checked Toshokan Sensou's Wikipedia entry - someone has kindly identified the flower: it's a German chamomile. In the Victorian language of flowers, it represents "energy in adversity", or "patience in adversity". Very apt for the Library Defence Force. (5) I find it interesting that the members of the Task Force have to perform the same librarian duties as everyone else. They stack books, fulfill search requests and even participate in reading sessions. All that on top of risking their lives on military missions. Well, this is fiction, so I guess the author can make her characters appear too-good-to-be-true. But I appreciate the effort in reminding us that, in the end, this series is very much about the functions of a library and its librarians. A library is a repository of information and being custodians of that information, librarians can also serve as a society's teachers. Kasahara, in particular, has natural talent for teaching pre-school children, but even Tezuka can be quite effective, despite his awkwardness around tiny tots. Thankfully, he has Shibasaki to give him much needed advice. He needn't have worried so much though. From my own experience, I find kids to be lots of fun. They might be naughty, but all they are really trying to do is catch your attention - just play along . Most importantly, you mustn't hold back when they ask questions - always answer as truthfully as you can (a librarian's first creed, I should add). And believe me, the questions that kids ask today amaze me - I was never as intelligent as they are at their age!
